Spoiler

Bethesda have had a torrid year; by all accounts Rage 2 has underperformed both critically and commercially and the much hyped Fallout 76 has been one of the standout dumpster fires of the gen. Thankfully, Bethesda own the rights to some of the most loved franchises in the industry and this year, it looks like Doom Eternal will be looking to spearhead a turnaround.

Following the hugely successful 2016 reboot, Doom Eternal is easily the most anticipated game, confirmed to be at Bethesda's show. The development team look to be sticking close to the fast paced shooting and shredding of the reboot, which was widely welcomed as a fitting evolution of the FPS mechanics which made the original Doom, one of the most highly regarded games ever made.

Complimenting Doom, we're also guaranteed a double helping of Wolfenstein. First off is the long announced VR hacking game, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot followed by the more traditional, Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

The aforementioned Rage 2 will be getting some DLC and Elder Scrolls Online never fails to get a mention, probably along with new mobile spinoff title, The Elder Scrolls: Blades.

With last years reveal of Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield, many were understandably hoping we would hear more about these titles this year, alas Todd Howard has already confirmed that neither title will be present at the conference and that last year was really just a sneak peak at the tech it's working on.

Bethesda have increasingly become a highlight of E3, rarely competing with the first party studio announcements, but nonetheless, never failing to bring something for everyone to get excited about.
