Why would the game tell you the path was very much this way, when there’s a tonne of map and bosses still to uncover? Big trailer-friendly Rune bosses too. Can’t believe a celebrated figure like Radahn can be completely ignored. Bonkers.

The tell for the lightning is his shield, as soon as you see it move it’s time to dodge. 
 

The fight is defs easier dismounted, I found that if you stick to the horse’s butt as much as possible he won’t do the lightning.

I managed to get 4 short sessions on this today. Every time I sat down, I meant to go find the Stormveil dungeon and then ended up doing something else completely.

 

I found the Village of Albinaurics earlier. Seemed like an interesting race. Hope I learn a bit more about them elsewhere.

Hmmm, I'm tiring of this now. This happened with Dark Souls 3 - I just stopped playing that because I lost interest, and it's happening here where it didn't with Dark Souls 1, Bloodborne (which I replayed to get the full proper ending!), and Demon's Souls. What's not helping is that, later in the game, the visuals for me just aren't as good. Volcano Manor and the surrounding area look, well, shit to be honest - the lighting in that area is all over the place. But it's not just visuals, while in Volcano manor I thought I was safe from those wheelie maiden things because I was up on some stairs, but one clipped right through the stairs I was on and killed me. That is utter bullshit, and about as last-gen as you can get. I said this when I first played the game, and despite enjoying the game a lot and really liking, loving even, a lot of the wonderful imagination that has gone into the world in this game ... it still looks and plays like a ten year old game. It feels old. I've played this all before, it's just bigger. 😐

There is a tell for the lightning zap. Admittedly I died a fair few times to it before I saw it but he jerks his arm down at the exact moment you're to press roll. It's a nice little reference.

 

Here's my fight if you wanna watch. I really liked this fight to be honest! One of those you can grind out by being patient and not getting greedy.

Nice work! No way I could do that, I can’t concentrate that long in a fight, always make a stupid mistake. Love watching people who can though.

I’ve just got to a mine and taken the conscious decision that I HAVE to stop for the night. I don’t think I’ve been to bed much before 2am lately and I’m knackered.

 

I don’t know how anyone could tire of this game. 120 hours and I haven’t been bored once.

I may be one of the lucky ones, but the PS5 version didn't crash once for me. Cannot comment on the other platforms, but hope it doesn't happen again for you!

100 hours on PC and no crashes. Hope I didn't just jinx myself.

I am tiring of this a bit as well. It's not that it's got worse - I've just entered the Capital and it's visually amazing, it's just I'm pushing 79 hours and that is a lot of Souls and I'm nowhere near the end. Last week I was non stop playing this. This week I'm like yeah, I'll take a break for a bit.

They are one aspect of the game that is FOR SURE designed with online messages etc in mind.  Once you know they're a thing, you hit all the walls.  :)

Thanks dude!! Finished my 4 hour stream by FINALLY beating the gatekeeper to the City with a little help from a guy who reminded me of Solaire. But with a Greatsword. Awesome.  Gonna do some coop there for a bit and help other pass that hump, he's tricksy!! 

 

Amazing session, passed the 70 hour mark tonight. I don't want it to end. :(

Conversely, tonights session is one of the only ones where I've had no crashes whatsoever.  Its crashed at least once a day for me for the last 3 weeks lol.

Doing the bloody finger guy’s questline and am top of the underground bit now.  You know, the bit you saw in the distance when there earlier.  Cor that’s a scary place at times.  Called it quits for the night, the boss hits like a truck.  Tomorrow!
