You just get a feeling.  Like ever gone into a catacomb and thought it was weird because there was just like 2 rooms and no boss..?  

 

Every catacomb has a boss.

I’m currently revisiting every Ruins site I’ve previously discovered just to make sure I actually cleared the underground bit and grabbed the loot. I then add a Flag icon to my map so I know it’s definitely done.

 

Tomorrow I’ll do all the Caves and Catacombs. 😁

If you see an item somewhere and you've checked every possible route nearby but there seems to be no logical way to get to it, chances are there's an illusory wall nearby. There are a couple of good ones in the Academy, for example.

 

Also, if you're playing online and you see a message with 'Secret ahead' and it's got hundreds of likes, *sometimes* it'll be genuine and you just need to hit the wall. There's only one way to be sure!

 

What will *really* fuck you off is when you realise there are lots of

Make sure you drop the ladder in the courtyard with the Cleanrot Knight and the dogs so you can do the bonfire run quickly, if you're not just using the Stake of Marika each time you die.

Just cheesed FG in the mountains (v1.002 fo life). Now I’m at CFA.

Amazing hovering ruins and tornado. Bugger me.

 

Pretty much doing as I’m told by Melina. But I’ve barely been to Caelid, or anything at all to the north of the mountains/the capital. I’ve not fought Radahn or the other big bosses bar Godric, Rennala and Morgott.
 

Is this inadvertently heading to endgame? Tempted to jump back to Caelid if so. Don’t want to finish it yet.

I've reached GDS/RLoB in AP as part of the VM quest. The gimmick seems pretty cool and I can get quite close to beating it if I'm super-aggressive, but towards the end the screen fills with so much stuff, the camera goes apeshit and it's a bit chaotic. :lol: Definitely do-able though.

 

E: got him with the help of my ashes. Yay!

Join them, then make your way through the hidden passages from the room they give you the key for. It's down a tight, dark corridor with vicious snails.

I figured out both of those doors mentioned earlier btw. Turns out I had missed a whole section...

in a chest guarded by a knight, which was also weird. I'm looking forwards to finding out what that's for.

Invader and the golem in the barren field near the castle? He drops some interesting loot if you read the descriptions...

Yeah CFA very much leads into the end game. If you’re interested in side quests it’s best to get them done before defeating the boss of the area, as it locks you out of some things.
