12 months of AppleTV?

there’s not been enough content to make time travelling back twelve months to watch Apple TV worth sitting through 2020 and 2021 again.

My man, if I could time travel I'd aspire to greater perks than six months of Apple TV.

Alternatively, download the Apple TV app on your PS5 and upon launching it you’ll be offered the 6 months. I had to force an app update to make it happen.

Sniper Elite 4 (top tier game you probably own via PS Plus) supposedly just got a PS5 update. I think it's a back-compatibility one rather than a full upgrade, but it's 4k/60 etc.

Cool, I don’t think I’ve ever played a Sniper Elite game.

The memory usage on this thing is shite. I run all PS4 games off an external but it seemingly stores all their save data on PS5 console storage? That can be the only explanation why I have a saved data file clocking in at 4.35GB listed under console storage. And "other" is at 40.75GB(!)

Now I've got the 6 months free Apple TV on my account I can use the app built-in to my TV so not wasting unnecessary electricity.

I thought I could do that but my TV doesn't do Apple TV app. God damn it.

Doesn't the "Other" folder also contain location bookmarks for stuff stored on an external drive so it doesn't take ages to load games?

40 gigs though.

Why move games saves to console storage?

The PS5 version of Exodus is the same price.

Just to clarify- is this native PS5, I.e. I’ll need to run it from the internal SSD? I fancies the Gold version with the expansions but it’s pretty hefty in size.

Can anybody with a PS5 and LEGO City Undercover tell me what framerate it runs at?

I can't find a definite answer online.

30 FPS when I tried it.  Indoors it’s meant to be 60.

And a very jaggy 1080p.

And why does it want 45.7 GB of space on the internal storage to update GTA V, when it's stored on an external drive?

And how much space does it need to update F1 2021. Don't tell me there's an error and when asked for details say 'Something has gone wrong'. No shit.

Sony's OS software is shit. It's been shit since PS3 days and isn't getting any better.

Microsoft's stuff is so far ahead it's scary.

Apple TV+ is a bit shit isn't it? It's all cheesy self knowing American "comedy". I feel soiled by even looking at it.

You’d be missing out. Ted Lasso is absolutely fantastic, The Morning Show is great, and I really enjoyed Mythic Quest. There are plenty of other recs in the thread. I don’t think I would necessarily have paid for it monthly, but for free there’s some really good stuff there.
