When the hell are they going to make more consoles available? This is ridiculous now.

The world situation is certainly to blame. Which country are they manufactured in? If you are in the UK you can assume that you are last in the food chain behind Japan, The US, and mainland Europe. Sometimes the thrill of the chase (of getting one) is more than the actual reason why you'd want or actually need one right now.

I've almost completely closed off to the fact that the PS5 actually exists now. I only want one to play Demon Souls on it, and to speed up some PS4 games. Will probably look like picking on up later in the year, probably after the first hardware revision, and maybe when they have an answer on the storage issue.

I'm hoping that they're waiting until they can release a decent amount of stock, so it's not too difficult to get one. Xbox stock has been slowly trickling out, and I think if they do similar with PS5, it's largely going to end up in the hands of scalpers and create more frustration than it relieves.

@Harrisown the stale tiles on the PS5 home menu can be fixed by restoring licences.

Yep. I’ve had to do it a few times now.

Today and last night actually, I noticed my good controller is starting to feel a little less than perfect. You know when you get a button that just doesn’t feel right to press, like a snap in place feel. That’s now my touchpad.

So stick drift on one, snappy touchpad on the other. Not impressed.

I think we all knew God of War wasn't going to make it this year.

No GT7 either, although I expect that will make it out the door this year, Sony have just been burned to many times by Polyphony to actually set a date!

I do wonder if there's going to be a

"Here's half a million of them, also 2 new games out this week" thing, they seem to have restocked more sporadically up to now than MS.

I think they're just selling them as fast as they're making them now, aren't they? Every time they report a sold figure, it seems to be bigger than last time.

If I were Jim From Finance, I’d probably be wondering what the point of releasing an exclusive like R&C is, without any hardware to sell along side it. Maybe they’re waiting until April or whenever they can satisfy demand and then can release it to drive more sales.

How very astute, yeah although that's a good strategy even if you are not from finance!

Is Hitman 3 an exclusive? I'll be a little sad if it's not available elsewhere, even though I have a PS5!

It's not, I think they're just promoting it as the VR mode is PSVR exclusive for now. That and the fact it's basically the only big game on the system until about March.

Can I add a new SSD yet, or have they announced when that will be supported?

I installed a few PS4 games on the SSD and filled it up, but the faster loading times make me want to leave them there, rather than shift them to an external drive.

Plug in an external SSD and move the PS4 games there.

I also really dislike the obnoxious beep the thing makes when you switch it on. Same with PS4.

They could have made it a far nicer sound.

Sorting games needs to change too.

I want folders and when I say list in alphabetical order for it to stick rather than defaulting to install date.
