Not acceptable tbh and soured me on the game and console (well more so, theres a lot i dislike about the PS5)

Right. I've just sorted out my AV shit and I've resigned the Wii U to the bedroom, along with an already fully stocked Wii, Pro controller, hacked, sensor bar, something has got to give between them. Sad times. PS4 Pro also now sat next to PS3 in bedroom too, 55" KS8000 supplying the visuals, for now. 

 

The joys of a total relationship and family breakdown and living alone in my own flashing nirvana. I love it. Honest.

 

Anyway, I now have space for a PS5 in the other bulging with virgin tat main room. I'm fucking itching to revisit Demon's. Have the OG save file wrapped up in Echo Base (the bedroom) and just atempted a NG+ and I'm sorry but it's not happening. The PS5 game looks incredible and this just won't cut it.

 

What's the situation on PS5 stock. Is it still as futile as launch? Silly question.

 

I'm drunk, can u tell? And I'm on the hunt.

 

I have the space, and I have the urge. I look forward to scoring one in March:(

I use PS Prices and get notified by email when a game is on sale. I purchased Donut County, Escapists, Gris & Undertale in the recent sale and I was notified by email.

How did you get the notification.  I got an email but only saw it 15 minutes after it arrived in my inbox and it was sold out at amazon by then.   On their discord channel for ps5 accessories you can't set up mobile notifications.

Lol, hadn't turned my PS5 on since getting Cyberpunk a fortnight ago. Now I can't load any game, says the data is corrupt and to uninstall and redownload. It's done it with Spideys so far.

 

Edit: I've had to pull the plug three times now. What a piece of shit.

 

Thankfully my nephew's appears to be perfectly fine.

Related, but when you stream FROM the PS5 it doesn't show up on Live from PlayStation on PS4. Sony really missing easy upgrade marketing to millions of people already in the ecosystem there.

Yeah, it's new. They've been tracking it since PS4 launch though, so I get to find out that, say, I did 500 hours of Destiny.

You're not the first person I've read about with this problem, did you play Cyberpunk on the PS5? (i thought you were on PC with it) because that was reproduceable for them if they had Cyberpunk in the drive.

Like I said, I hadn't turned my my PS5 on since getting Cyberpunk. ;) Yes, I'm playing CB on PC.

 

Honestly? I think it's an OS/Storage issue. The game had several updates queued for download. Curiously Spidey remastered wasn't one of them (and I know there was one because i hadn't downloaded the Performance RT update for it), and it was that game a started playing. I got as far as loading my Dave and it stuck on a black screen, that's when it all started. Actually, I had to reboot my PS5 first of all, I wasn't getting any sound through my soundbar, then I went through all the crap.

 

Spidey has since been redownloaded and appears to work fine, but like I said, I reckon there's issues with storage on these machines.

Unlikely to have issues with storage, more likely poorly QA'ed OS. Which isn't surprising given COVID and the late announcement of the hardware. Typically Sony's internal QA would do this and it's not a job you could do at home that easily given the secrecy surrounding the PS5 up til Sept. 

 

Spiderman also seems to cause a lot of issues but it feels like the latest patch might be the more stable one.

Oh that’s interesting yeah, makes sense.
 

Also wasn’t there a OS leak months back? I imagine that would have lead to them being even more cautious.
