Yep, its a fake. Ignore. I'm currently trying to find anything on twitter from the actual company, but its looking grim.

 

Edit: Reports of the French Amazon site getting stock. Not much use to us, but I wonder if there has been some comms mixup, and the UK isnt getting stock at 12, and it was some other Amazon site....

The tesco preorder site is now saying out of stock. Having tried a billion times I once managed to get to the point where I could pick a store to pick up from but the website was so borked it was impossible to select one. The whole thing was so dysfunctional I find it hard to believe a substantial number of people actually bought one.

:) Think Sony / MS just want units shifting... 

 

But agree. Even a pre-order offer sent through their messenger apps with discount bundles perhaps. That would have been nice. Perhaps on the next major hardware release they will do that...

 

However guessing most people who absolutely wanted one of these on release day would have got a pre-order in really early.

Sony tried this in the US for their own pre-orders. It wasn't received well.
