Oddly my very order has gone back to 17th dec (was showing 23rd nov earlier), but I have an option to track my package and that page reads 'order being processed' and 'delivery on or before 23rd november'.

 the tension continues...

Mine still say 17/12. Although it's weird they would have a limited stock for delivery on that date as surely they have no idea how many they'd be getting?

Obviously I will roll around CMS-based conspiracy theories for next week or so....

To be fair, you could easily overlook the screw hol... wait, Siri, zoom and enhance:

They just left the prongs sticking out the side?

Edit - The PS logo would have to be upside down too. How many signals did they miss?

Last week I dropped my old PS3 slim and a load of games off with a friend who lives alone and has been feeling isolated recently. I got a text at the weekend: "Which way up should I put the Playstation? It keeps falling over.". Even if you did not notice the flat bottom and the orientation of the text, a quick Google image search provides hundreds of examples of how to place it.

No doubt there are examples of people setting their Series X upside down as well, and wondering why it is overheating.

If thats a stove temperature guage put it on the side of your burner.  That gives you the correct temparature of the stove and not the pipe. (I have just had mine cleaned and they guy told me this )

Nice PS5 and dog by the way.

Just plugged in my external 4tb drive.

So far so good. Taking ages to populate the list because there’s well over 100 games on there but I suspect it’ll improve.

Did they really remove the voice control from the PlayStation? And NOW they decide to add a mic to the controller...... go figure.

Going through the initial setup, I think I accidently chose Skip to update the controllers. I can't find anywhere in the setting to check to see if I have the latest firmware for them. There is a System Update section and there is a area for Controllers but nothing to actually see what version they are on or check for a controller update.

Searched online and can't find out how to do it either.

The System Update states its upto date but assume that is purely for the OS.

Oh my. In person it’s actually lovely. Can’t believe it’s almost a nice light grey colour and not the horrible shiny white it seems on video.

Kudos to Shopto who put it in a paper thin cardboard box with no padding whatsoever. Nice hole punched through the outer and inner boxes. Twats.

There’s also a mic button on the media remote which currently does nothing so they’re probably going to add it back in eventually.

I managed to get @RickyDVT a console after pulling some strings, had to go to exeter game for it personally and collect it, got followed by some cheeky chancing rat who thought better when I stopped and stared him down. Off he pedalled on his nice stolen bike.

Raced back, packed it up courier on the way.

Checked delivery of my console 4.30

Well this has made an incredibly good first impression.

The interface is beautiful. Astro’s Playroom is lovely. Overall it just feels as if I’ve got a super slick new piece of kit. In comparison, Xbox just felt like business as usual, with no way of really showing what it’s capable of, no first party launch titles of note, minimal update to their tired UI and a share button added to the controller. Yes, GamesPass is great value, but just look at what’s on offer in the PS Plus Collection and it’s very much a case of quality over quantity.

And I might add I’ve always been very much team Xbox. Well played, Sony.
