I reckon anyone who isn't American and calls a megadrive a "genesis" is a colossal twat.

What about non-Japanese people calling the Snes the Super Famicom? Because let's face it, Famicom sounds way more awesome.

Just imagine the noise those two’ll make together!

NONE!

For those who haven't experienced the XsX and are excitedly awaiting the PS5, I can confirm having a lightning fast but completely silent console is a godsend. It's incredible, you hear nothing - I gladly packed up the jumbo jet that was my PS4 to make room for its silent but powerful follow-up.

Going through my old games and seeing how fast everything is now is just amazing. EDF2017 loads in 2 seconds  Can't wait to experience Miles Morales.

So for the scumbags like me who don't have a preorder, has any company released details on that 'you can order a PS5 online on launch day' stuff Sony were going on about?

Tesco have mentioned it. Disk version only for click and collect. No clue how much stock we are talking here.

MY HYPE IS OVER 9000 and rising. Of course I was first focused on the Series X because that was out first, but now the shadow of the PS5 colossus is looming and I'm getting hyped beyond belief. Demon's Souls is one of my favourite games of all time and I'm a big Marvel nerd, so those two launch games are perfect for me

I'm refreshing my order page every now and again in the hope it has shipped early, but no dice... yet.

Cleaned out the tv unit today, untangled an ungodly mess of cables and janked out a bunch of cables that weren't really being used anymore. Also finally disconnected and packed up the old Wii U - I need the space. I think there's now enough room right next to his next gen colleague:

It's going to look great those two monsters next to each other  Can't wait :omg:

This made me smile last night and raised my faltering hype levels back up. I moved all my games to the external HDD over the weekend the only thing that remains on the Pro is CoD for my son who will inherit the hoover once the PS5 arrives.

Still not sure what my setup will be I like floaty but vertical is going to be more practical.  Looking forward to seeing how you all integrate the 'beast' into your setups though :) @Mr. Gerbik looks like he has plenty of space though :)

It's a really cheap IKEA tv unit, bought it a decade ago for the man cave. Open at the back for ventilation and lots of space to house multiple consoles. Or just the one console, this gen :D It's perfect for me, but it's an ugly thing - for anyone connecting the console up to the living room telly, it's completely unsuited. It's 100% practical, only for students or dads with man caves.

Can I ask a question I'm sure has been answered but I can see it:

How long will these PS Plus Games list be available to download for the PS5.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Battlefield 1

Bloodborne

Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Days Gone

Detroit: Become Human

Fallout 4

Final Fantasy XV

God of War

inFAMOUS: Second Son

The Last Guardian

The Last of Us Remastered

Monster Hunter: World

Mortal Kombat X

Persona 5

Ratchet & Clank

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Until Dawn

As in, if I don't get a PS5 at launch, how long until that expires (even if I am already and will be a PS Plus member)?

I'm not sure it's been mentioned, I'd imagine it runs until at least after Christmas though.

I'm still on the fence about cancelling my order.

I need to get in the mindset that the PS5 is more of a future investment because I'm only interested in one game at launch (spiderman) and then the next games I want won't be out for ages.

I'm just going to have that feeling of "I have wasted money" for absolutely ages.

Do you have anything on the PS4 you have not played?

I'm not buying any PS5 games on release I've got a stack of PS4 games to enjoy that will last me 6 to 9 months easily.

I just want a quieter, faster loading console that will do for now.
