Not bad @Meers but you can cut most apexes and use the track more still. Car is maybe a bit loose in the turn in is it?

I havent driven Misano for 10 months... Its much more fun than what I remembered, but damn am I slow. 😁 I have 2 more days to improve.

Yeah the track limits are quite forgiving, aren't they? I suppose I could find a bit more time, but I've no idea where my time stands compared to you guys. So get some laps in!

The car has a tight turn-in, but slides a bit coming out of corners with too much throttle applied. It's managable, and I don't really want to use more TC for this one. it's just lively enough for my driving style.

Erik: Remember when I said I was slow?

League-ionnaires: ...yeah?

Never try to fix anything with more electronics. You are losing rear grip mid corner in T1. You can try 1 click higher wing, lower rear ride height or softer rear ARB. One at a time, those should help. If induced turn-in understeer then becomes annoying you can try to move brake bias more forwards, I use 53-54 % in the McLaren and can go as low as 51 % if braking zone is straight(Monza T1)

Right now I cant get within 2 s of what the game thinks is my personal lap record. 🤔 But thats hopefully just lack of practice. I'll drive some on server tonight.

Agreed, electronics are baaad, m'kay? Well spotted, I lose a bit of grip in that corner indeed. Turn-in feels great for me, actually. I'm using 57% currently. I'll give your suggestions a shot come Thursday before the race (I've no opportunity in the coming days).

So what is your time then? I refuse to believe my time is anywhere near competitive. That'll be the day. 😅

The results so far. I have no idea how to make a list like @davejm always does, so this'll have to do.

I download the result files (JSON) and then use 'ACC Results Companion' app which compiles the leaderboard.

I'm away from home at the moment hence the lack of updates.

Cheers Dave for the reply. I'll check it out when I'm home again. Looks like you need to run it when ACC is running in order to get the results.

No you don't need to.  You download the results files, plonk them in a folder, then tell ACC results companion where to look (in the settings).

I'll be home tomorrow anyway 😀

The dreaded COVID has descended on the Valver household.  My 13yr old daughter tested positive on Monday (presumably picking it up from school) and now my wife and I dont feel quite right either.  Just had my PCR test, so will get some results tomorrow...

This may or may not impact my ability to practice/simrace.  So if you dont hear/see me for a bit - well, you know why.

Lets hope it wont be the serious kind. Try to take it easy now and rest well. I'll get my second vaccine shot tomorrow, and I expect to again race with a hurting arm and elevated temperature. 😄

@SharkyOB @davejm @Count Buffalos and I went to the British GT at Oulton Park, was awesome! Unfortunately weather took a turn for the worse, spirits were low, boots were wet and we forgot to take a selfie 😆 Nice to meet you lads! Here's some photos, also going to post a video but haven't had time to look at it. Going to try and practice after dinner tonight.

IMPORTANT!!!!

Don't forget that you need to register for the upcoming events.  It was too much of a faff using the sgp tools to bring over entrant lists from the previous events; so I've set all the events to 'open' and you need to register.

Only 6 registrants so far.  If you don't register before the server starts you won't be able to join.

I'm gonna activate my car swap rights and use the Merc for this season. I seem to be a little slower in it than the Ferrari at first, but I think it will be good for me to learn to deal with a "looser/bouncier" feel, as my driving style prefers stiffer cars, and the Ferrari was more of the same really...

Interesting.. I'm losing a second in the first sector alone. Good to know :)

Edit: Registered for the event too

Quite pleased with my showing considering it's based on about 10 practice laps. Misano was the circuit in my first rllmuk season where I started to feel like I 'got' the game and could maybe finish a race without necessarily smashing my car multiple times. (and Bathurst is the circuit that reminds me that doesn't have to be true all of the time)
