On this track I think you want to be able to drive over the kerb on the left in esses, the corner after sunset. If you bottom out and spin there, raise the car.

I can ride that kerb well now, goes for the one on the right as well. So I may have got it right this time around. Now I can follow your motto of riding every kerb.

 

I also lowered my rear wing 1 click because the car has enough grip, and considering I added more rake I think I can get away with it. Turn-in seems spot on now anyways.

For those interested, here's the full recording of my quali and race at Spa last Thursday.

 

Streaming seems fixed now so hopefully I can use that again instead of the Nvidia option. The file was 48Gb and took me 2 days to upload (and even more time for YT to process it).

Had another good race with the TSR guys this evening.  Silverstone this week, which was tricky as it's been a while since I've raced here so took me most of the race to get familiarised with it again.   

 

Despite that I managed to finish 5th after qualifying 9th, from a grid of 13.  Did a splash and dash pitstop which gained me a couple of places (a couple of peeps changed tyres).  Was a fun race and had some good battling.

I tried it yesterday and front 50, rear 90 mm seems ok. A bit of snap handbrake turn at the end of braking but I can solve that by not fully lifting throttle, ever. 😄

 

I dont seem to be able to match my previous laptimes around here but looking at some stats and latest CDA laps it looks like the Lexus is a full second if not more off the Audi. 🙄 At least its fun to drive.

Wow, this should be a good one. Love the track, so I'm excited for tomorrow already :)

Gotta make sure to avoid that killer curb on the inside of the penultimate turn. It feels a bit like some sort of trap on a Mario Kart circuit :D

Final race of this season will be next week's Thursday which is the 29th. American track DLC will be released the followind day, on the 30th. Do we get to race new tracks immediately? Next season I think I will go with Nissan now that nobody drives it.

Yeah, we always race the new content as soon as its available.  In the early days of the league we held off a bit (as not everyone bought all the DLC), but content isn't exactly fast to arrive from Kunos so we just jump on it as soon as its released these days.  New tracks are needed to keep things fresh.

I've been thinking about dusting off the trusty old GTR at some point again. Had many great league races in the turbo brick. Bonus points for the awesome noise :D

Good luck mate.  I've still, somehow, managed to avoid it.  Despite everyone I know getting it.

 

Fingers crossed it doesn't turn too serious and that you can race tomorrow :)

You will be fine. It's not real COVID anymore, all the temp hospitals are closed. /conspiracy over. 😀

 

I had a bit of a headache so you may have to pancake instead of hat. 

 

I will be not be in attendance this week, as Mrs M double booked me. But I might come on to watch the latter stages (quietly !) 

 

I have found a sponsor for this season , from the flat lands of @Meers (and others). They stopped working in 2012 but have agreed to once last dance with the muck.

Ah I hope it stays mild for you, I found I was just tired a lot when I had it last week. I guess I was lucky that it was already on the mend when it came to race day.

Nope, sorry guys. Feeling worse as the day goes on so I won’t be racing tonight. 
 

Pretty gutted as it’s the first race I’ve missed since we started. 
 

Luckily there are loads of entrants tonight so it’ll still be a good race. But I don’t want to read about how I missed the best race ever, so zip it tomorrow :)
