Nope that was lap 5 after the restart. It was worse than the lap 1 crash that caused a restart. Teams were warned there would be no more than one restart but only me and Nico, those blue and purple cars towards the end, slowed down. 😃

It's the 'made for kids' option that you specifically need to disable; which then gives you the other option.

Ah shame technical issues tanked your rightful finishing position Meers - seems like you were on for a top ten! I dropped in on the stream a couple of times and you were nailing it. Consistent, fast driving. Excellent stuff!

 

Only enduro race I've ever done is a 12-hour one at Montreal in LMP2 cars which we did at an actual venue back in about 2018. Was fun! I am still planning on dipping into ACC properly but life's a bit busy with getting my new house sorted and waiting for Kiro Jr to arrive in a few months' time.

Yeah I need to try write up later today what happened, was an interesting race a lot can happen in 24 hours. It's such a different experience driving endurance, you need a different skill set of driving techniques to get through it, couple crashes out of my control and we got through the full thing with only 3 track cut warnings.

We finished P13. I believe we had pace to be well within top 10 but it was not to be.

 

I spun 2 cars in the opening laps and we received 2 drive-throughs and thus went almost 2 laps down. The first I thought was justified but the second was a pretty harsh penalty for a very light tap on final corner's apex kerb where a Macca that had TC set on 1 couldnt get power down slowly spun after the contact.

 

Our pace was pretty good through the race. Some troubles getting pressures right, a slow stint on a used set of tyres and one driver tended to grain his tyres so his pace slowed down a lot towards end of stints. Unfortunately due to PC crashes and wheel issues we sat about 5 minutes in the pits. Right at the end P10 to P15 were still on the same lap within about 30 seconds and without any one of above troubles we would have been P11 at least.

rllmuk GT World Challenge Season 10

GT3 Endurance Cup

 

ACC Mukker's!!  Season 10 is upon us :)  We're back in the GT3s with 6 consecutive rounds starting next Thursday. 

 

A slight shakeup this season...

  • 60 minute Endurance (all rounds)

  • 1 mandatory pit-stop with tyre change required (no pit window, refueling allowed)

  • 5 best results count towards standings, worst result 'scrubbed'

  • Server launch/Practice start: 7:30pm (40 minutes)

  • Qualifying start: 8:10pm (20 minutes)

  • Race start: 8:30pm (60 minutes)

  • 2 points for fastest lap

  • 2 points for best qualifier

  • Dynamic weather (subject to change)

hard to look past Winky with the 4 wins and overall championship. Valver also high up the table.
