On the sessions page you'll see a 'Session Breakdown' link...

 

It'll load into a page showing each lap for each driver that took part in the session; with purple and green lap and sector times.

 

The 'gap' values correspond to the gap to the session best across all drivers (SB) and the driver's personal best (PB) for that session.

 

Slightly frustrating that it only pulls through 'completed/valid' laps; but hey ho.  You'll see line breaks for laps that weren't valid.

Its a bit of a logistical nightmare, will try and get discord running on my pc with my headset, I don't use discord on pc usually, just on my phone, headset pairs with phone for Bluetooth but it won't pass the mic through unless I use a headphone cable and my phone doesn't have a headphone jack, I am guessing if I install discord and run that it will work with my mic.

Nice one.  The single player mode is super additive and have been enjoying it, to a point.  But I can't help thinking I'm missing out on not using it with the wheel, so I've also been looking at a Drivehub.  But shelling out another £80 just to play one game, seems a bit much.   I might just ride out the wave of excitement I have with it and then just throw myself back into ACC when the arm feels totally better.

I am enjoying GT7 and it’s really good on the pad but also can’t help but think I am missing out by not using a wheel. Is the drivehub the black magic it looks to be - plug my CSW in and I get PS5 compatibility? Very tempting although might also then want to buy a new rim for drifting.

Thread hijack    You need a Drivehub but also a wired officially licensed pad (like a Hori mini); otherwise it disconnects after 10 minutes as I assume the console can't detect a peripheral and does something funky.

 

In my case I'd also need a new monitor/TV, because the 1440p Ultrawide that's connected to the rig is busted and stuck in display port mode (and won't take 4k anyway).  I was thinking about getting an OLED for the office/rig room, but the added cost of the Drivehub etc is a bit much for one game.  Such a shame as I think about how cool it would be with the wheel every time I play it.  I just can't get to grips with the pad at all.

Cheers Dave. I have Hori fight pad for Streetfighter so hopefully that will work. Might be interested in this if GT7 holds my interest

Yeah I picked it up as I had a hori wired pad already, it works with my csl dd, running in csl compatible mode, it seems to introduce some weird frame issues on replays, like it's dropping frames, but it doesn't impact the actual racing, I opted for it as £80 was a lot less than a new ps only wheel, I play some dirt on my Ps5 also so made more sense to me and I am hopeful psvr2 will be supported in the future in gt

I'm finding Donington to be a difficult circuit, I just couldn't find any flow around the lap. That uphill braking into coppice I just can get through with any real speed. Hoping another hour of practice tonight will bring better lap times. @Meers you're only 6 points behind me in the standings and almost a second faster, this could be a really close fight for 2nd in the league over the next two races.

I've been feeling pretty ill all week, reckon I'm about 50/50 on being able to race tomorrow and haven't had any practice since my early session there. It would be just amazing to have the fastest practice time and not be able to try and carry through to the race! Especially as I know I can go quicker, my best-sectors time on that little session is 0.4s faster already.

 

@EuroVapeSim2 on that corner there's a tyre mark on the left kerb I use for a marker, you want to get down to second gear (at least in the 720s) to be able to cut the apex kerb and be on throttle as early as possible, it's better to be slow in and fast out IMO due to the long sweeping corner and straight coming up. It's probably the last two hairpins where I struggle the most, they feel so damn long and slow.

Ah hopefully whatever it is it doesn't keep you down for too long. Another .4 damn, I'm going have to have to practice hard and pray to some deities. I find 2nd gear is better than 3rd in the Ferrari as well, It's getting back on throttle is kicking out the rear, I'll make some setup changes as well to see if it helps. I'll watch for the tyre mark  this evening when practicing. I thought I didn't do too bad in the last sector but you have 6 tenths on me in that sector alone so you must be doing something right!

I can find more time as well, but I find the track really rather slippery. And I wasted a lot of time last night trying to figure out why I couldn't save my setup anymore (gave me an error). After fucking about (and searching Google) for about 70 minutes I discovered that Windows Defender put a message in the windows sidebar (no notification, typically) stating that it had put the AC2.exe on its blacklist all by itself and for no apparent reason. FFS. 
 

Better than having to deal with that on race day I suppose, but annoying nonetheless. I might be on early tonight for another go.
