If we're talking predictions

Spoiler

I reckon Gap Yar rebel boy is going to snuff it, and will while dying hand his little manifesto book to Andor in front of everyone, who will be completely non-plussed and use it as a fire lighter later when no-one is looking.

Perrin is nailed on to grass Mon Mothma up. As for our little band of Rebels, none will make it out except for Andor. Maybe the Imperial officer is a double agent…

Spoiler

Fully agreed on smug cunt space husband, but I don't think their man on the inside at the Imperial base is a double agent. He worked hard to make sure things were in place for the heist.

Yeah, Space Ellis from Die Hard is shifty. I'm watching him closely to see if he calls anyone "booby".

I think the double cross is

Spoiler

gonna be that the heist is a distraction from the real mission that the two girls are off to handle. Andor wont be able to escape and finds himself trapped in the Empire and have to sell out the team/not intervene to ensure his cover isn't blown. Later, newly promoted to the Empire sad lad joins Andor's detail and comedy ensues complete with Benny Hill music and silly string.

That’s exactly what he wants you to think @Thor

Also I hope when the stormtroopers show up that they are actual bad asses instead of the usual cannon fodder. I think it's nice that we are yet to see them so far.

It would be soooo cool if, when Stormtroopers turn up, they are genuinely scary...

Don’t get me wrong, I love all the Star Wars stuff, even the objectively rubbish Star Wars stuff, but this is so much better than almost all of it that it’s slightly unbelievable that it came from the same studio that made The Book of Boba Fett.

I’m also watching the latest series of Killing Eve this week and Mon Mothma is giving me real Carolyn vibes (ironic given Fiona Shaw’s role in this), I wonder if we’re going to see her do something drastic to prevent her cover being blown.

I mean it seems the writing and directing is mostly shared between the brothers who did Rogue One, The Bourne films, and Nightcrawler. So they're pretty solid picks in terms of putting out something that feels gritty and with some texture to it.

If you like Austin Walker (of Giant bomb and Waypoint fame) he does a podcast that has been going through Clone Wars episode by episode, it is having a break from that and looking at Andor. The 2nd to last episode covers Andor ep 1-3 and the current episode is for 4, and it will be going episode by episode going forwards.

I've just finished episode 3.

The pacing, feel, atmosphere is absolutely fucking superb. It feels so real. And the side of grim that isn't so dark, more like the cold atmosphere seen in the face off.

It is that acceptance of life and how things are, it feels very real.

Cannot wait to catch up on the rest
