Me for the last week - "Definitely not again this year, you can't put 100s of hours year after year since 1998 getting Coventry to win the Champions League, not again"

Today - "Holy shit I've got a day off let's get that bad boy downloaded"

Own worst enemy.

Coventry manager 2019. These FM threads would not be the same without the annual Coventry odyssey instalments.

Is it just me, or do you a) get a lot more injuries in this version and b) get a lot more players complaining if they are out of the team for a few games?

Injuries during matches are high and its a confirmed bug. Pretty sure players are also complaining about things a lot more in general which they are also looking into.

Hopefully they aren't going to wait until release day before releasing a proper bug fixing patch!

An unannounced feature being announced tomorrow? What could it be?

Miles ended up announcing that he can't actually announce what the new feature is.

In twitter comments he apparently mentioned he couldn't due to lawyers, which has got people thinking it's a new league license for either Japan or the lower German leagues they have removed from the beta due to the new Bundesliga licensing stuff.

Meh.

In terms of the player unhappiness, does that include with training? I've been leaving the new training to my assistant manager, but I seem to constantly get moans from my players that they think we should be doing a different type of training.

It's worth noting that this patch creates a new folder in the db folder, so if you do the real name fix, you'll need to do it again.

its fair to say you REALLLLLY need to keep on top of training in this init!? its damn annoying when you get a schedule that looks good for the month, then a match suddenly gets rearranged and it just puts it in, without auto setting recovery and rest and match review to the day after!

And yeah there does seem to be constant bitching about training from players...might help if the game actually explained what each thing did properly!

and that mentoring stuff...not a clue how that works!
