Decembers game pass quests have indeed launched tonight.

 

Just a quick one to note is that with the today (the 7th) being the first Tuesday of the month (on which they always start the new month) it only runs for 27 days through till the 3rd of December unlike November which gave a full five weeks.  

 

Only reason I mention it as it could make it a bit tight / easy to miss for some to get the 1K "Quest Completionist" reward especially with people likely away visiting / losing full days sobering up on the sofa etc over Xmas :).

A reminder to all that it's a short reward month for Game Pass (4 weeks) so make sure you're opening the app and booting up those games before the dailies and weeklies expire as there's not much room for error :)

I find (at least on iOS) if you go into the profile screen (where it shows you quests to turn in) on the app and pull down the page (which does a refresh) it seems to force it to eventually accept that you have logged in.

I find that opening and then manually closing the app, then opening it again and refreshing a page usually works. The 'kill app' step seems to be important.

Takes 14 seconds on my iPhone, which is an old one to be honest. I've just sat and timed it. To be honest I don't notice as I tend to do it when I've fired up the xbox, so start it on my phone and then get back to the xbox and wait for the notification to pop. Edit if it doesn't pop after a few minutes I then go back to the phone and do the thing I mentioned above.

I was a bit annoyed I had to install a couple of the game just to play them this week. It'd be much easier if they were on the cloud.

 

Speaking of which, the Elder Scrolls one can be done on cloud. Just put a rubber band round your sticks so your character keeps walking around and leave it for a while. IOt didn't actually take an hour for me, it was maybe half that.

In Body & AI -> Prostheses  ...give yourself something for an achievement.

In Weapon Bench, modify a weapon with A, give a new emblem ...it's about the only thing not locked. Another achievement.  

 

There might be more hiding here, but I only need 3 :)

I'd forgotten about the GP quest as well. I'll be doing those other two over the next couple of days

Damn, I removed ABS by accident and it's not on the chrome extension store anymore. This means I can't just press one button and it does everything. 

 

Raging. There is an extension that does 60 searches but not the quizzes or mobile searches.
