Not really Xbox related but ever since they added the AI bullshit to the Bing app on Android it now runs at a glacial pace. Doing the searches is actually painful.

 

Also it tries to make me read Telegraph articles, which is cyberbullying.

I've had an email this morning from Support telling me that they e credited my account 400 points from the last "earn three achievements debacle ~ the EA one, I think it was.

It did used to require it. It's only been recently I've noticed it's been quite happily accepting my desktop browser searches too.

I've been doing rewards for over three years and have never downloaded the app. If it has required it in the past, it was before then.

 

Unless it's some A/B thing.

Weekly Set streak reset last night. Was at around 40 weeks. I definitely done last weeks as it's registered in the May Bonus Round as 1/2. For the sake of the 20p that it's cost me, I'll moan about it here rather than open a ticket

Well, as I noted in Off Topic, I used to actually use Bing and the app's integration made that a bit more convenient. But also, the wording of the rewards points for using Bing suggests it needed to be on the app. Someone else here pointed out that wasn't the case.

 

But anyway, unless you really like Bing or dig the AI bollocks, I would eject it. The amount of trackers in it is absurd.
