I’m up to £350 odd reward points and that’s without the Rewards section appearing in my app, so out a few hundred a day. Also, no option for Amazon vouchers anywhere — how many points per £5 are they?

7600 points per £5 Amazon voucher. No discount on the £10 option.

Appears fine on my redemption options.

I think Amazon gift cards were withdrawn as a reward, but only for people who signed up after a certain date? So if you signed up ages ago you can still redeem your points for gift vouchers.

I use non-stackable codes for GPU from cdkeys (£2.79 a month) and redeem my monthly points for a £10 Tesco voucher - I get a month of gaming and my dog gets a month of biscuits for £2.79 which is great.

What's the email address to complain about a dropped streak? I just lost a 32-week streak on Xbox because one of the requirements for the weekly set was "get 3 achievements". I unlocked eight achievements that week and not one of them would register.

Edited to add: apparently you have to put in a ticket at https://rewards.bing.com/support

And I can confirm that it's worth mailing them as they've reinstated my streak before and a have given me the points when I've contacted them re Achieve more, Earn More not working a good few times.

Speaking of AMEM it looks like they might be giving it a proper going over (let's hope eh!) to get it working reliably, as today it's showing up as this:

Which when you click on it gives you this:

Also over on Reddit and on YT, many people have mentioned that the EA Play card hasn't worked for them. I've been trying to get it to work for the best part of a week now, and looking at it today I'm sure they've updated the text to include this bit that I don't recall seeing before:

Fingers crossed that they get on top of it too. I'm a big fan of the MS rewards scheme but some bits of it are a bit flaky :)

Saying achievements may take several days to track is the worst disclaimer ever when that potentially leaves it too late to claim some of the rewards.

I still don't understand why it's so hard to get achievements to track properly but behind the scenes it's probably an ungodly mess.

It’s also a blatant lie.

I’ve been doing this for enough years now to know the way their systems work, it either tracks almost immediately or it doesn’t at all. There is no in between unless CS intervene.

I had to redo the achievements for the weekly on Sunday as the 3 I got earlier in the week were clearly not going to appear. Thankfully it was working on the second time of asking.

Probably wouldn’t have bothered except I’m 1 week off the 2.5k 10 weekly bonus so it was in my interest to have another go.

On the flip side can’t really complain too much. I’ve had several hundred pounds of gift cards/Gamepass from them since 2019 and I’m currently on 170k points (with 3 years Gamepass still stacked).

Not bad for a few clicks

Apropos of reviews, friend recommendations and the EA task, I’ve completed Jedi Fallen Order. I’ve not unlocked my 9p and the game is overrated as fuck.

The game was ace and as Star Wars as fcuk but commiserations on the 9p 😂

Not my experience at all, I've had plenty of achievements not register immediately but do so later in the day. Including yesterday when I was getting my weekly set finished up.

Later in the day yes.

Several days later no.

I’ve had things register days later. Recently The current Powerful Women of Gamepass registered 2 days after I got an achievement, and also added them to the monthly at the same time.

Which isn’t to say that it isn’t entirely shoddy and random a lot of the time

Fair enough I stand corrected 😃

Wasn’t playing ball for me mind so I had to rinse and repeat. Thankfully Contrast is an easy source of achievements without needing too much effort.

The controls in Contrast make me feel uncomfortable.

I'm finding Vampire Survivors is a great source of EMAM points. When EMAM works, that is. While it's not quite as quick as something like Townscaper bit games only last half an hour and it's straightforward to get an Achievement every time you play.

After a few days away due to a hellish migraine, I was welcomed back with the EA thing actually working! Unlocked an achievement in Peggle 2 and it instantly tracked.

Regardless of being 9p better off or not. It’s just nice to see it working again after such a long time (lost track, well over 3 weeks though)

Do achievements unlock when playing the trials of EA games?

Yeah I think so. I believe I got a bunch of them from GRID Legends when it was still in 10-hour trial mode (it's subsequently been made available in full).

It didn't make me get a new achievement. I just clicked the activate button and it went green (I had got an achievement in F1 '22 las week, when it wasn't working.)
