A few times since the start of the year, when I've gone onto the Bing app on Xbox One to do my Daily Set, some of the links to quizzes haven't worked.

 

e.g. the one today just activates a search for "Bing weekly news quiz", but doesn't load the actual quiz.

 

The green tick appears next to the 10pts, so presumably the points were applied anyway (but I didn't do a before/after comparison of my points total, so I can't confirm that). But it's a bit annoying that there's a bug like this.

 

 

My Daily Set streak has reset a couple of times since the new year as well, even though I'm mostly sure I didn't miss a day.

Its on them. I've lost my streaks and things loads of times because of them, just gave up and let it roll on regardless.

How much are people averaging every month? I think it's remarkable that you can essentially save up and get whatever next MS console releases. I am just banking mine until then, but curious to know how much people are making each month?

12k+, easily. I don't chase achievements (apart from the three required for weekly rewards) and don't bother with mobile either as I find it fiddly, so could be well over that if I wanted.

 

Two minutes a day, playing games as normal, and only very occasionally firing up an easy achievement game if I can't make the weekly requirement with whatever I'm playing.

Emptied my rewards in April to top up GPU via XBLG 3 Month Codes (currently expires March 8, 2024) and now, 280 days later I'm at 86,052 points. I'm also lazy but works out I'm "earning" around 9.1k/month with the barest effort.

 

Current balance is a shade under £75 MS Credit, roughly £50 in Amazon Credit or about 250 days of GPU via XBLG 3 Month Codes (takes me to Nov 2024)

I average about 25k points per month - this is done through daily / weekly tasks, the Edge homepage click, the exercise videos, searches on mobile / desktop and doing the Xbox app stuff (playing a PC game with friends etc).

 

Probably takes me a total of 5-10 minutes a day. I don’t tend to do anything with requires me to grind on a game.

 

I am more of a PlayStation gamer really so this could be higher if I were cashing in daily achievements also.

A shade over 19K per month here, for relatively minimal effort. 

 

I plough all of mine back into Gamepass. You need 9K per month to break even on GamePass (you can extend for 50 days at a time for 15,000 points, which is 300 points per day) and I just keep adding it on so it front-loads the sub. My GamePass expiry date is currently some time in the back half of 2025. 

 

Some time this year I'll hit the three-year wall, where I won't be able to keep pushing back the run-out date at the same rate. At that point I'll probably start banking the excess points to save towards a controller or something.

Don't forget to click on the drop-down in Edge (desktop - don't know if it's on mobile) and go to the shopping area. Scroll down a bit to find the daily "guess the lowest price" game. 10 guesses per day. 10 points for each correct guess.

Where do you get 50 days for 15k?

 

The offers I see through the Redeem menu are:

 

1 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for 12,000 pts

3 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for 35,000 pts

On the rewards web page, it says that those prices are normally 14k and 42k respectively, but are reduced because I have a "Level 2 discount".  (The MS Rewards app on Xbox shows the lower prices, but doesn't say anything about being on Level 2.)

 

Assuming that MS's "month" means 30 days rather than 28, then 35k for 3 months is equivalent to 19,444 for 50 days. How are you getting that down to 15k for 50 days?

 

EDIT: Are you referring to Gold rather than Game Pass? I see that Gold is 15k for 3 months.

You buy 3 months of XBLG at 15,000 (not 3 months of Game Pass Ultimate)which then converts to approx 50 days of GPU (sometimes it's 51 or 52 days but always a minimum of 50)

 

Edited a typo

3 months of GPU gets you approx 90 days for 35,000 (roughly 390 points/day)

x3 3 months of XBLG gets you approx 150 days for 3 x 15,000 = 35,000 45,000 (roughly 300 points/day)

 

Note that XBLG redeem option doesn't appear for everyone

Weird one, for me there is no "Gaming" link on Edge. I can see all the other categories at the top of the page.

I know the MS Edge gaming page wasn't working yesterday (mt first time ever going there to collect points too!) but it seems to be today though I can't for the life of me see a "Rewards" tile?

 

Having never looked for it before am I just looking for something as per the post by @shirubagan or is it perhaps a case of MS Rewards being a tad flaky and it not actually being there today?
