If you buy or redeem a game from a foreign store, does it prevent challenges for punchcards in rewards from registering? For example I bought call of duty using Brazilian gift balance I had however the weekly rewards set doesn't register an achievement unlocked in it, the daily 50pt bonus for unlocking an achievement didn't register and the MW2 punchcard for playing and earning achievement didn't unlock

It’s never been a problem for me. Sometimes the achievement 50 pts can be finicky, but getting something from another region’s been fine.

I thought as much but yesterday evening it was doing the same. I'll try again later or try a different game for the daily 50pt and see if that works

Forgive me if I'm being dense, but are you playing FH5 on the PC to get this or is there some sort of cross play that means you can do this through Xbox ?

No such thing as a stupid question dude! :D Yeah I meant I have FH5 installed on my laptop. There is crossplay/cloud save (so when I play on the PC it remembers where I left off on the Xbox version and vice versa, and I don't think the system differentiates gameplay-wise between console and PC players on the same instance) but as far as I know there's no way to get the extra "Play with friends on PC" points by playing on console.

If the 50pt for an achievement doesn't show once I've earned it I find restarting the console helps.

  • 2 weeks later...

I've earnt a few achievements this week, but the weekly still shows 0/3 and not been able to claim the daily +50 for the last couple of days.  Anyone any experience on how to stop this?  I've tried it on both my series x and s but same issue, so guessing it's not a machine thing?

I just discovered for the last two years iv been. Donating my points to UNICEF

.what the hell

As default they turn on donations and if you so much as click any charity button it can sign you up to the service. I check my account pretty often as easy to be stuck on some 1K a month ones without realising

It's got me a couple of times. Once I swear blind I didn't touch it but was taking the points out before I noticed. I don't even hover the mouse curser over the icons for them anymore.

How does this one work? All I see  are loads of product categories. Clicking on something just opens a new tab.

Edit: works on Xbox, just not on mobile. Guessing it’ll work on desktop also.

It worked for me but I just guessed my way through and got about 3 correct. Seems like a lot of work for 100 points and apparently it is different for everyone so no way to cheese it.

Answers for this weeks 50/50.

EDIT: Use the one that @rgraves posted below. It's far easier on the eye than the clustered mess I posted :)

If you aren't willing to have a crack at guessing which of two elements is lower in the periodic table, then you should hand in your nerd badge, lightgun and copy of White Dwarf on your way out the door.

Got 2 wrong here, do I keep my nerd badge? Or more importantly, my physics degree?

You keep all of them, for now, but you have to down a pint of the element(s) that you got wrong.

All I know about elements is that irregularities will be handled by the forces controlling each dimension. Transuranic heavy elements may not be used where there is life. Medium atomic weights are available: Gold, Lead, Copper, Jet, Diamond, Radium, Sapphire, Silver and Steel. Sapphire and Steel have been assigned.

Not much use really.
