Works on iPad, so I imagine you’d be good.

I've spotted a new way of getting some extra points every day.

 

If you open a new tab in Microsoft Edge (I can only speak for the PC version), you get a feed with loads of recommended news articles and stuff. If you choose the "Gaming" submenu, then one of the articles that appears along the top row is a Microsoft Rewards one. Just click it to get the points.

Same here. Just sticks on the blue splash screen with the yellow medallion for a couple of minutes, then fails to some generic “we’re sorry, this service is unavailable” error screen.

 

Edited to add: this is the Xbox One dashboard Rewards app. The iPhone app is behaving fine and so is the website. This afternoon I was able to get my usual Bing points on PC, then my usual daily points on iPhone, which coincidentally was enough to tip me over 15,000, which I was then able to redeem on the website for three months of Gold, which converted as usual to about 50 days of GPU. 
 

So I don’t know where the problem is but it’s not the whole Rewards ecosystem. Specifically seems to be the Xbox leg.

I haven't been able to get my 50 points for an achievement for days. 

 

While we're in here complaining, the Android Bing app is absolute dogshit. I'm so tired of them trying to inject their news feed into everything. If they didn't specifically require you to use the app occasionally (instead of just "search bing on any device") I would have deleted it by now. And I say that as someone who has been fine with Bing as a primary search engine for years.

I just use the Xbox Bing search and click through the featured news. Any missing searches and then Start, A, Start, A on repeat in the search bar until I get to 90 points.

It is any device. I don't even have the app and every time that requirement comes up on Rewards, it logs my searches on Edge on my PC.

Go to the Rewards App on Xbox, press up so you're at he page tabs, go across to Rewards/Redeem (can't remember which off the top of my head)  and you should be able to switch it off there.

I've earned a couple tonight but it won't give me the points. I've even done a hard reset and power cycled the Xbox to see if that sorts the issue. Nope.


If you are talking about the achieve more earn more daily reward on the Xbox app then be reassured it’s intermittently screwed for everyone. The rewards app on console is generally highly unreliable!

 

I just treat it as a bonus is if works these days….not as if Microsoft don’t throw points around like candy in loads of other ways

Treasure is up on the dash today :).

 

Also in what is a first (as far as I can remember, and it could well be a mistake) one of the weekly “play” quests that’s gone up today is The Artful Escape. As good a game as it is, it left Game Pass a few weeks ago and I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m not gonna splash £16 on it for 25 points :wacko:.
