You need to check the Nook shop as the turnip price changes every morning and afternoon. From Monday morning, until Saturday afternoon. Some weeks you'll get a crap price, but sometimes you get lucky with 600+!!

 

Some of us here are millionaires now, thanks to turnips. I've got 26 million in the bank.

I am basically down to those two and a green mum so will check this out. 

 

One little note on that guide if you're not paying good attention for the Windflowers it might appears to show you can breed purple off multiples of hybrid pinks that came out of some red/orange seeded pairs. But you can see the from the IMO not very obvious different plain background colouring of those red/orange bred pinks and then down a few rows is a yellowy orange background for the pinks you get off the pink/blue breeding pair it needs to be those special super hybrid pinks off those what you can then pair up for getting the purple off.

 

 

 

Some numpty who maybe hadn't been looking close enough to notice that could be moaning wondering why they're not getting any purple out of all their pinks they've had there for so long

 

 

Has anyone noticed the buried money appearing in more random spaces recently? I was regularly only getting the glowing thingy in a couple of places as my island has often been so full of flowers and stuff (especially when I was doing the mannequins for the rock garden) and I had some days where I didn't get it at all. But this last week or so I have had it in some more tighter little spots that were also there before, but it never appeared there or at all that I could find

Most weeks the price is unlikely to jump higher than say, 150-200, but occasionally it can spike from 400-600. People on Reddit will be mentioning 500 a lot because that's the Goldilocks value if you weigh up a high profit vs the likelihood of getting better elsewhere. Plus it's a heck of a lot of bells if you have an inventory full. What you have in the bank is irrelevant to the turnip market and the prices you'll be offered.

 

I'm guessing the piece of the puzzle you're missing is the fact that you can travel island to island to sell your turnips. You might get a spike on your own island once a month if you're lucky, but someone else on here will almost always get a spike...

Sadly, you can't influence who leaves by mistreating or ignoring them. If you want him gone you'll have to either wait for him to suggest it (random), or get an animal at your campsite to suggest they want to leave (you can reset and try again) or use Amiibos.

Yeah, its definitely changed.  Prior to the 1.4.0 update I only had 3 areas where buried money would appear, post the update it has appeared in a number of other places too including ones that are more 'hidden'

Right between a tree and a path? Surely this shouldn't be possible? Maybe it's because the tree isn't fully grown.

Don't think that would have happened before but not 100% sure.  Perhaps they have relaxed the rules for stone spawning too

I think this could happen assuming that rocks are spawned before trees grow. The tree was a sapling yesterday that you could walk through and therefore didn’t block spawns in adjacent spaces. The rock was pal Ed and then the tree grew.

Yeah, I think it's possible it discounts the trees when they're mere saplings, but I didn't even realise they could spawn directly next to paths. Until recently I also didn't realise they could spawn right in the midst of some flowers, so... Let's hope they've not suddenly altered it because at this point I'd lose my mind.

They can only not spawn next to squares you cannot walk though. So flowers, paths and saplings only block their own square, not the adjacent ones.

 

Anything you cannot walk though (spans on the swuare) blocks rocks from spawning.

I did wonder on the order it'd do its stuff overnight. Was a couple of buildings I wanted to move mid rock garden project, but I didn't want to chance it moving the building first then popping the rock into that empty space left behind.
