Yeah I got my 3rd visit (including his first appearance) yesterday.

 

Given you have a museum to fill, can only get 1 each time and they can be fakes then it really isn't enough.

I think Flick is on the list of visitors guaranteed once a week? I kinda wish you could just choose, or at least have a preference. Like if I could tell Nook that I like either bugs, fish or art and it would prioritise that visitor.

I think it’s supposed to be something you do very slowly, so if you’re playing the game in the intended way it could take a year or more to complete the museum. Like most other things, I’m guessing it’s supposed to encourage trading, and I do think there need to be some things that aren’t easy to get quickly in order to create relative value in different items. But the art has also gotten so valuable in the community that ten million bells seems to be a standard price for common paintings, with rarer statues reaching up to a hundred million, which does seem a bit crazy. But maybe not, if you could buy paintings for 10 million each to finish your collection would that be helpful?

Guaranteed once a week are Saharah, Kicks and Leif (plus KK and Daisy Mae at weekends)

That leaves 2 days per week shared between 5 visitors (Redd, CJ, Flick, Gulliver, Label).  For the 3 out of that set that don't appear in a given week there is an increased chance they appear the next week (increased chance does not further stack or carry).

As I commented before I wish they would just bin Label from this group (perhaps move her into Abels) so that the remaining 4 were guaranteed to appear once a fortnight.

They could also make space by moving Leif into Nooks or Kicks into Abels. Bring back Mainstreet!

 

If people have only seen Redd a couple of times since he was added (April 23rd) then they are either very unlucky or not playing every day and have on occasion missed him.

I finished the fossil part of the museum yesterday. I also caught a Great White Shark which I now feel slightly guilty about donating to the museum considering how big it is compared to your character when you catch him and how small the tank is he has to swim around in the museum.

I caught a great white this week too! He first popped up while I was walking about without a fishing rod (having just broken mine) and I thought my chance had passed, imagine my surprise when another one appeared.

Yeah, I don't get the point of Label.  Her fashion test is very basic, you get clothes that appear in Abels anyway plus a 3k tailors ticket that is of such low value its not worth bothering with.  Bring back Gracie!

The bushes could just go into the cabinet at nooks and rotate in there. Plus there’s so few variations. Kicks has more of a point, but I don’t think abels should sell shoes if he’s going to visit weekly. 
 

I quite like Label’s challenge, and the free item, followed by a full range of colours in the shop tomorrow. But she’s the definition of someone I’d like to see once a month or so.

Label is rubbish, but at least she has a little game / challenge attached to her appearance.  Kicks are Lief are just shops.  I suppose Sahara is as well, but he has the mystery item thing going on.


Anyway, I've got a white system kitchen in my shop if anyone wants it, and Sahara in town.  Open while afk.

Got a third wand in a row from Celeste not that I'm bitter or anything!  Lost most of the items I'd gathered when @MagicalDrop left quietly tho, probably most of the stars too.  Had to re-catch the bug and snowflakes I previously had and lost most of my fish :(

Thanks for the name check but I got a connection error from the host, I never try to leave quietly as I'm well aware it screws things up for others. I lost all my fish and snowflakes too.

I caught 4 more so can give you a couple if you want, don't think either of us can actually do anything with them for 6 months tho! :lol:

Was surprised at how much I lost, I thought it autosaved more frequently :(
