I only realised last week that the amount of bells that cn be planted is not restricted to 10,000 as I had thought it was. I now gain 120,000+ per day  (assuming I find the glowing dot and plant money each day) and will never need to Turnip again.

if you use the wrapping paper item from the cupboard in nooks to 'wrap' an item then these little bags are the result.  There are loads of different colour wraps available, nooks have 2 random ones each day.

If you stand over a regular item you will get a popup saying what it is, if you stand over a wrapped item then you do not!

Btw, is it me or has the frequency of sharks taken a massive dive? I was fishing up great whites and whale sharks like nobody's business the other day and now there's nothing.

Most places online say that if you plant over 10,000 bells it's a lottery what you get back. With 10,000 or less you get that exact amount x3. Above that amount there is a a risk that you might not get the same return and some days you will get a lot less.

 

Hope you haven't planted 5 days of that value and you're about to receive a massive loss on the amount buried.

Took a couple, got a punching bag and 99k bells. Happy with that. Also caught 2 suckerfish, hadn't caught that before

Pfft! I'm sure that is as complicated as all the flower stuff I sometimes stumble upon y'all chatting about! 

 

I shall play it by ear and carry on burying 40,000 ish bells per tree as, so far, I have had four or five deliver in the last week. It's not like I'm really losing (in my mind) as I make that from fruit and selling tat each day...

 

As for flowers, by doing nothing at all my island has spontaneously, and for reasons I have no clue to, gifted me a black roses which are the one flower I want most. To be fair, I'd probably like more than the 3 or 4 I have but I am sure they will come in good time. My island also seems quite good at making purple pansies out of thin air.
