Just visited @NexivRed, had a nice fishing session, can back to mine and did another session at mine... six new fish for the museum!!

 

I’ve dialled back on this in the last couple of weeks as I’ve been super busy and playing some games with my boy. But it’s been really nice grabbing a couple of hours today. Couple of ideas to redevelop too. Hope to visit a few people tomorrow and get some inspiration. 
 

@NexivRed, your dinosaur freak show is something else. Made me laugh

Hah, thanks. Just messing around a bit but it was really fun. Not sure what to put around it. I’m sure the idea will come to me.

Last day of my car boot sale today then everything goes to Nook's. All free, just asking for a sprinkle of my pansies in return. There's still a pinball table, Imperial stuff, rattan and a Champions Pennant. Take away or catalogue. 

 

Turnips are 97.

Same here, no letter nor rank last sunday but got one today with an A ranking and instructions on how to do better.

Same here.  First time I've had no HHA assessment, I completed all the HHA trophies several weeks ago and plenty of room in mailbox so wonder why I suddenly don't have one this week

Potentially dumb flower questions: 

 

1) there's absolutely no way of telling from looking which flowers are bred or seed, right? Hence marking the floor with dirt?

 

2) if I put a yellow flower of a different type adjacent to another flower that's yellow would it breed a yellow of either type or can flower breeds not reproduce that way, ie you only get offspring from the same type of flower being adjacent?

No way at all. You have to keep track of from seed/bred flowers yourself.

They wouldn’t breed, but they may individually clone, particularly if you get lots of visitors watering.

Yeah, I heard he's popular, I was worried I had effectively stolen the guy, but I guess not. :) 

It's strange, it seems if you have an empty plot for a couple days somebody will just show up. I visited a mystery island to look for a new resident, but found the ugliest character I've seen so far, a jock pig.

Exactly. Getting a good price is even more profitable (unless you bought multiple inventories of turnips)

You could still buy if you really want to as you can usually buy as well as sell on turnip exchange.

Ah yes forgot about that. I’ll leave it this week I think and focus on getting my island in decent shape and hope the turnip gods are generous in my shop, as others have mentioned that can almost be as lucrative.
