Opened my gates again

jamesh - Ellijess

Ive finally started dabbling in hybrid flowers, just a few small patches so far.  I’ll make signs and leave watering cans etc when I have time but if anyone visits in the meantime if you can water I’d appreciate it

Patch of yellow & Red Mums near the Museum and some tulips outside houses about in centre

Help yourself to fossils etc on beach near airport and Sahara is still knocking about somewhere

Thanks!

Quick question for people that are doing a lot of custom designing or have multiple players on their Island.  I tried to google this but could not find an answer.

Most of my Custom design slots are full and I need a bunch more for an idea I had this morning for a cool new area.  I can use the second account on my switch to create a second player on my Island, if I do so will they have their own set of design slots available or do they just share the ones already used by the first player (me).

Thanks

Gate closed, it's so lovely having visitors. Redd still has the fake version of this:

If anyone wants it later. Thanks for the swaps :)

Please spoiler that. I like to try and find out for myself. :)

I was hoping this would grab my daughter more than it has. Is the best way of seeing what it has to offer just pottering around the island and letting the various characters explain things? Failing that, any decent starter guides anywhere?

I assume there are low risks associated with letting my daughter visit other peoples islands? We don’t have Nintendo Online yet and won’t unless she really starts to get into this.

Tell her not to go running through flowers.

Is she the island owner? You gotta do some graft to get most of the bits that really open up the game. Inviting islanders to come stay, paying off your mortgage, spending money in the shop, convincing Ables to open a shop.... It's definitely quite heavy on the grind early on, but more villagers tends to mean more stuff going on and more presents and conversations. Bigger shops mean more clothes and items to buy and eventually the ability to terraform your island.

I’d never let my kids visit other islands alone unless it was very specifically a friend of theirs, even then you’d have to have the family online subscription. They are kind sad about not being able to visit other islands so I am considering upgrading the membership myself. I would be there watching though I think.

I took my kid to Bubbo’s island, which he loved, but he’s 11 and keeps writing ass in the chat and spammed me and Donut with messages about his frog outfit so I’m less worried about him that what I might unleash on other people.

If anybody could come and water it would be appreciated. I'm on the spreadsheet, somewhere in the 80's if you need to add me.

Open now and for a while if anyone fancies doing a good deed today :D

Only area that needs watering is the patch above Galaga shrine on the east of the island, and the small patch of blues/blacks etc. above that.

Slightly gutted, I have been collecting three of each insect for when Flick comes to visit. I have made a sort of nature walk and I wanted the bigs on stone plinths. Flick is here, but will only do one commission at a time. This will take me months to complete.

Marina the delightful, pink octopus threatened me with leaving today.  I don't know what I'd do if she left.

Currently paying off my mortgage to get a new prison basement room for my house.

I asked CJ for a model frog yesterday, I was hoping it might be nice to place out in the wild somewhere, but unfortunately it has a big black base to it, so it’s not that good in case anybody else had similar ideas.
