I really don't get the rating system in this game. I've had a five star rating for a few weeks now and I've basically got nothing on my island. I've got a bunch of shrubs and hedges and a restaurant that's nearly finished, other than that I've got fuck all.

We have (or rather had) a nice free area with bones and recipes and extra items but my partner found out the judging committee counts that as junk so she's tearing it up now. Which is a pity as sharing extra stuff felt nice. I wonder if there's a way around it by using stalls and the like?

Renée is currently crafting a birdcage if you're after recipes.

 

I'm after a few red lily seeds and yellow/white mum seeds if you can spare them.

That's the one I thought was part of the non art stuff so was going to buy as well as the (fake) Mona Lisa I did buy as that Redd visit art piece. I was annoyed then that it was an art piece and am even more annoyed now having seen it's special powers. I can;t be doing with the Mona Lisa at the best of times so it's a double annoyance.

 

DAMN.

Visited someone's island earlier, not sure whose but there were a lot of turtles there, anyway the island from what I saw was lovely. Got a communication error about half way exploring the place unfortunately. Been doing some more work on my island since then but can't get it right.

Morning all, I’m on the scrounge for another watering as yesterday - amazing results yesterday. 
 

Same drill as before, orange and red roses in the south west. If I’m online shout if you want any other flowers in return, or drop me a message on here. 
 

Everyrhing in Nooks fair game btw. Imperial Bed and pink guitar in one off item sale.

Just had a slight panic moment. Hit a bug where I couldn't knock on any villagers doors. Quit the game and loaded up my save and that didn't fix it. Thankfully closing the game down completely and reloading fixed it. But it was a bit of a pant wetting moment as I really didn't fancy starting again from scratch.

If if I had to start again I don’t know if I could. I would definitely need at least a week to mourn the loss of my island.
