Can I ask how you know they are fake? I bought several recently, and I'm convinced on of them is a fake as it can sometimes be iffy when you scan it. Cheers

Yes!  Finally getting KK to visit.  I have to say I don't think the island that that great yet but it jumped from 1 to 3 stars today.  It must have been getting more animals to move to the island that did it.  I'm still a bit too embarrassed by the island to get Nintendo online and open it up for visitors.

I guess it must be the turnip stuff where get a lot of bells quickly.  I don't really feel like doing turnips trading really and I'm not really free on sunday mornings to play the game, but I guess things will just take longer without getting bells that way.

Ha that’s a bit pay-to-win. Nintendo are missing a trick by making it so easy to pick villagers like some sort of FIFA ultimate team. Now if they put a replacement for Midge, the no-banter, low imagination, no effort bird as DLC, I’d probably be heading straight to webstore.

 benedict asked to move out yesterday and I didn’t want to get in the way of his dreams, so I let him go, and now I’m a bit sad. He’s pretty cool for a chicken. At least I got some videos of him.

I’ve got the kit for the tenth house and I’m going to do a bit of rearranging next.

I'm generally ok for almost any of my Animals to move out as long as they're not birds. I eventually want an almost all bird island.

 

Except for Bluebear who is just totes adorbs. Oh and Beardo who looks like my mate

If you ask a campsite animal to stay (the scenario where it chooses a random islander to boot out), are you stuck booting them out once you find out who it is? Or can you change your mind and say actually, fuck off to the campsite person?

Causal observation: Nintendo have made a big fuss about getting Mario taken out of PS4 dreams for IP protection but don’t seem to be too bothered about the mass of downloadable outfits and decorations from other companies games in AC.

Well no they can’t, not exactly. There’s a good article about ‘the void’ where your characters disappear to. They can reappear on other islands of your friends/people you’ve had visits with.


So with a couple of mates, all of our original villagers included Canberra, and all our Canberras left. Then mine popped up on one of our islands and promptly moved in. So one Canberra left and another arrived, who didn’t know my friend but had met them before at some point, and obviously knew me.

I've done this a few times now and been able to choose from all my villagers, to decide who moves out.

That's when you use an amiibo. If it's a random camp site user they give you a choice of replacing them with 1 other resident. At that point you can say sure thing or tell them no.
