Sherb spotted one of my many snapping turtles and set to work trying to identify it using his little guidebook which contains illustrations of other animals you can catch in the game! I can spot the Ocean Sunfish. Love it. :D

Do snapping turtles actually move around when placed? I’ve caught my second and  “released” it, but it’s remaining still so far.

I've seen people use custom tiles on the ground to look like footprints from the turtle but no, they don't move

Bless. He thinks it’s a ruddy sun fish.

I love little villager quirks. I know they all have their fixed jock/peppy etc personality, and their style preference etc, but I swear they’re all different. No one sings as much as Shari on my island. And she changes her clothes loads more than the others.

Who else has a particular islander do stuff? I have a waterer. My ibis crane Cranston. He does all the flowers on the island.
Velma is always looking at stuff with a magnifying glass.

Deena the duck wats lollipops but Rhonda eats donuts.

Edit: lol. Literally out doing it.

I witnessed what I thought was a show down in the nail salon earlier. Sisterly Shari was chatting with Cranky Admiral, and she yelled at him and called him a “stupid mon ami!” (which is the catchphrase I gave her).

He had a go at her back and she apologised, and then he mulled over the catchphrase and asked if he could take it for a joyride

And so, mon ami transferred from Shari to Admiral. Now half of them call me that, whilst the other half call me Comrade :D

We've got a group of regular waterers, if you'd like to join in?

Sorry I missed this, definitely yes, I'm in temporary accommodation at the moment but when I get somewhere with WiFi I'm down for that.

Looks like it. I thought maybe Sherb came from Sherbet and Herb (Herbert) Of course, he's also a boy's colour. ;)

I really shouldn't pay any attention to popularity ratings, but there's something strangely addictive about finding where my villagers rank. Sherb has fallen into the 2nd division now from the highest one. :( Raymond, as ever, is firmly on top. I'd quite like Judy the snooty bear with stars for eyes.

I have Celeste and shooting stars and Sahara visiting tonight if anyone needs stars and/ or floors/walls/rugs?

Celeste gave me a recipe for a lunar rover!

Hello, friend.

Actually - are we friends? AC Name/Island name? I checked the google sheet and your details are blank :o

Give me about fifteen minutes and I'll pop up a dodo code.

I do have dress code on the island as we are a religious community and prefer anonymity especially since going multi denominational.

Clothes will be presented for your wearing during your visit...

Goats are clearly the GOAT in New Horizons because Pashmina is the my best islander, unfortunately she's also one of the originals so her house isn't very interesting. She enjoys sitting under trees like all the residents and she's the only one who sings and I'll find her singing in the town square on the beach for her own enjoyment and she always wears the different outfits I give her. Erik likes to water the plants, Apple just sprints everywhere, Poppy enjoys chasing dragonflys around and Peanut always seems to be doing yoga. Stinky is boring and just works out all the time so hopefully he'll leave soon.

Does Isabelle always tell you when you'll have a meteor shower because Celeste has visited twice now and I haven't seen a single shooting star.

I don't get these ratings. Apparently my two best villagers are Francine (Tier 2) and Kyle (Tier 3). How I'd rate my villagers (with their apparent Tier position in brackets)

1. Pinky (T5!)

2. Nana (T5)

3. Lucha (T6!!)

4. Victoria (T6)

5. Francine (T2, 15th)

6. Goose - even though he's a prick (T6)

7. Hornsby (T4, 35th)

8. Kyle (T3, 28th)

9. Rocco (T6)

100. Dudfrog RIP (T5)
