I planted an orchard of all 5 fruits. Some were transplanted, most were sown. Now some have started growing but most are still nursery trees. Why is that? All have the same space around them.

Some of mine refused to grow because rocks, flowers or weeds spawned between the trees on one of the spots that the tree needs.

Fishing Boat-flag sent. My GC AC town was called Labrynna because I was playing Oracle of Ages when it came out. Since then all of my towns have been called Framheim (meaning Forward Home) after Roald Amundens Arctic Base when he was racing Scott to the pole.

My GameCube town was called Glabbey, because my parents roads were called Abbey and Glapton and I still lived with them when I got it.

My new leaf town was called Raftel, after the final island of the grand line in one piece. My new town is called Binkton, because my girlfriend’s nickname is Bink.

Anyone know where to get these posters?

I have the two on the left of the back wall. I'll send 'em over. :)Are we already friends? SW-2225-4908-7401 if not

I just noticed if you place the T-Rex outside, you can have the mouth open or closed. I'm curious if any other fossils are poseable?

Further to my earlier post I'm loving how much personalty the villagers have. Pashmina will usually be found singing in the square in the evening and Poppy was chasing a dragonfly around this morning. It's one of the best things in the game.

Cheers!

I also found this amusing AC gif:

Can't wait for the return of the king of baristas. Which should happen eventually...

Cheers, man! Mine's SW-5866-0988-2862, I'll add you later if we're not friends yet :)

And yes I think most big fossil displays are poseable.

I wonder if new furniture etc will come with the updates across the year. The game launched with a huge amount of Japanese variety, and that could well be this installment's flavour but I can see new sets and themes getting included. Then again it might just be what's happened so far: one or two Nook shopping items per month.

G Plan please.

Inspired by Japanese offices my partner said. Pity they’re not doing up on a roof garden.

Found out yesterday that you can fall into holes.

I put some of those around my D-Day landings, but promptly fell in all of them whilst finishing the build :hmm:

That moment when you split bells to plant a 10k money tree...

and accidentally plant 99,999 bells in the ground!

Why is the default menu option Bury! I've planted a ton of 1k trees in the past by accident due to the exact same issue!

30% chance of getting it back x2!

So far I have only found 2 that are, the t-rex and the triceratops.  have tried quite a few others like the diplo, mammoth, sabretooth, stego and they are not

Ahh, they're the ones I tried as well, and I assumed it'd be like this for most others as well

I've been collecting quite a few complete duplicates for outdoor display and just tried a load of them out, a bit disappointed now!

Those posters are awesome

Agreed. They're in my home gym, although that doesn't seem very fitting. Add me too if you want 'em. :)

Added Keyboard Koala!

It would be nice to display the fossils outdoors without the wooden plinths which look...indoorsy.

Grass standees maybe help fix that?

Hmmm, maybe. I've not run into any of the standee stuff yet.

I'm feeling guilty because I've already caught 6/8 of the new fish and 7/8 of the bugs.

P.S. Does anyone know, if you do the tarantula island hack, will you get scorpions now?

Hmm, standees don't really work, the mountain one cant even be pushed as close as the grass and hedge.  Perhaps real hedges might work, not tried that out yet

Haven’t got the island yet but scorpions have fully replaced tarantulas for me.

Your museum entrance is incredibly epic!

My partner wants to know how long it took to set up your flowers.
