Ooh, I've had a proper storm on Pazuzu this evening. Thunder and lightning! Very, very frightening!

 

Also, even though he dresses like a dickhead I am warming to Butch the dog as every time I visit his house he is bashing away at his workbench and always gives me a recipe. Latest is for a racoon model...

I love the little touches in this game. Yesterday a couple of my villagers were sat on the ground by the river so I put a park bench there today. When I was visiting them during the day one of them was sat on the bench and commented how nice it was to have a place to sit on their walk.

My gate is open to friends at the moment, if anyone is bored. 

It's not much really, it's a building site at the moment.

My youngest who can’t read managed to latch on to the fact that one villager likes bugs, so when he got an Ant Farm he was like “Jakey will like this”. A couple of days later I hear this little squeal, “Yes I’m finally friends with Jakey!” And he ran and got the ant farm from his house to give him.

I totally rinsed the May day Island...and then they take your bushes and flowers away.

My first thought with the 'prize' is, oh, so I'm a drug mule now?

 

Bumped into my first scorpion earlier and of course, immediately died.

Can anyone spare 10 mins to come and do a bit of flower watering? I thought I had 5 people water today but not getting large sparkles on anything do somethings gone wrong somewhere. 

 

The regular watering posse of @Danster, @StumpyJohn and @spanx have already helped today.

One great little touch I found the other day was when it's raining and you're in your house. If your wallpaper has windows then rotate the camera and you can see the raindrops hitting the glass and sliding down - it looks great! And you can barely see it unless you're moving the camera! 

 

And some other cool rain stuff - you can hear the sound of rain hitting different roof types and you can hear it on the roof in Nooks as well. And another cool audio thing - when it's raining if you hit rocks, the objects coming out make a proper wet thud when they hit the ground. And your footsteps even sound different in the wet! You can tell some real love went into the audio visual design of this game.

Same here and, even worse, just before leaving having collected all the bushes and flowers, I thought I'd try the rescue service before leaving just to see what happened. After being dropped back at the plane I found I had lost all of the plants and flowers so did the whole island again.

 

I was a tad cross when I got home and found they had robbed me of all the plants.

 

Fuck knows what's in that case so I've stashed it in my basement with my skinned fortune teller.
