Isabelle was telling me my island was 4 star and just needed more items placing so raided my storage and did some strategic fly-tipping and eureka! Just got 5 star Island status! 

 

I have already watered my black roses today. Is there any increased chance of a gold one tomorrow if I water again tonight with my shiny new can?

The only way to gold roses is by watering black roses with a gold can

 

(be that you or anyone else doing the watering)

 

Edit: and yes doing it after normal watering will still work

You can only get gold ones if you water with the gold can so use that shiny new can

Yeah although I wish I knew what some of them were referencing. Everyone post what your tunes are from!

 

Mines is the Metal Gear Solid game over music, sadly you can't make sharp notes so it's slightly out of tune. Then I found out Matt Cohen has the metal gear main theme (which I'd heard but couldn't remember where I recognised it from!), so maybe he subconsciously influenced my choice. Back in the early days I didn't know players could edit tunes so I was like, man this Dodo makes some cool references :lol:

I am very pleased with how my garden is looking. The bush is a baby money tree...

I do not have any fancy flowers as I do not understand that whole thing. I do not have any paths either but, on the upside, my house is on top of a hill that I carved out to make it fit...

 

In other news, having taught Flo the Penguin and later Moose the Mouse to say 'oi oi' my new arrival, Tank the Rhino, has started using it of his own accord and only a few days after moving in too. Which pleases me no end..

I was looking at the design thread thinking how the hell do they get all these colours in one pallete? And then I was making a design last night and realised the edit colour option applies to individual slots and not the whole pallete. Doh! Now I can make my designs better, if I can be arsed.

 

It does seem really fiddly to apply similar shades to multiple slots for shading etc, I wish you could copy one slots colour to another so it would be easier to make graduations etc. Or am I still missing something?

Plesio skull

Ankylo skull or tail

T. rex tail
 

There’s a few more but I accidentally deleted them from the list lol.

It's 1pm in the Southern Hemisphere and the fish guy is lurking up in the north west area of the island. Edit, he pays above odds for fish and will make you a model of any fish you give him three of.

 

Friends welcome to visit, others can PM me their friend codes if they want to visit and I'll add you.

I've got Ammonite for sure, (bloody found one on a Nook Island almost immediately after trading with @StumpyJohn :lol:), might have the other one too. Do you have Auatralopith?

Only got Amber, Megacero Torso, Deinony torso, and Coprolite x2

Does anyone have a spare Ankylo tail to trade plz? I think that’s the very last piece I need to complete my dinosaur section of the museum. I’ve got loads of dupes. Get me the tail and I’ll make sure it’s worth your while :)

I can give both Anklo tail and Megacero skull if you're still looking for them.  Don't need anything in return
