Talking of QoL improvements, obviously there's the buying of clothes, but also letter writing is excruciating because there's no auto-capitalisation, words don't move to the next line, deleting takes an age, etc, etc. It's exactly like the first game, but we've had twenty years since of mobile phone companies refining it.

 

Actually fuck all that, the number one priority for Nintendo should be light switches that actually turn the light on and off.

Thanks again for that Winged Victory of Samothrace statue! The only thing wrong with it is that it's mirrored. It'll still look cracking as the centre-piece to a hedge maze (or it would if I could make the effort). :D

 

Really, you should be able to get the real art for your personal use and not just for the museum. Like a print?

You can put any of Redds art on your walls. Good for the fakes, damn you fox!

 

Edit: never mind you said real! Won't see me finding the real ones though, I ain't Googling shit! (check back in 2 weeks when I'm definitely Googling it all)

I’m going to start using this app https://smartify.org

 

it’s got a scanner in it, apparently works well with the game so you can see the real painting and compare. Not sure if it works for statues etc. though yet.

The website description is pretty funny, it’s a bold marketing strategy. Although Redbubble is full of ripped off AC art assets and they don’t get taken down.

If Celeste is on your island does that mean I should be guaranteed shooting stars? The last two times I have seen her I didn't see a single shooting star. Was just wondering if I was unlucky with my timings.

 

I also see Redd has pissed off after flogging me a fake Da Vinci sketch.  The filthy scroat.

I have had her visit without getting stars later on so I don't believe they are guaranteed.  If you keep an ear out there are the occasional ones on quite a few nights but often few and far between

 

We had a crash on Tiffin last night after a big shower but fortunately I had fragments on my beach still this morning including my first one from the new zodiac sign :)
