I just got the glitch from leaving using the minus button. I went to my friend's island specifically to raid their shops, but when I returned, I was back in my original clothing and everything I bought had disappeared from my inventory. :(

Would love Lolly's Amiibo card. If I had her as a neighbour, she would never leave.

That is a good idea, looks like there are a couple of restrictions in the game in relation to Redd

 

Each person can only buy from Redd once a day irrespective of how many islands you visit him on

Each item on his boat can only be bought once so only 4 people can buy from any particular Redd

I’ve got that one. My son is using it at the moment (day 2 I think), but if you PM me your address I could post it to you afterwards and you could send it back when you’re done?

Ive got a knights helmet but I crafter it from iron and it’s an ornament. I’ve not seen any wearable knight stuff.

Thanks, but I don't want it yet. I'm keeping all my animals, until they give me their picture. Then I can start to get rid of the ones I don't want.

Ah yeah, only one of each painting can seem to exist in your game. That's a pain. So, only three other people will be able to get in on someone else's island and 1-3 of those artworks will be fake. -_-

This Polygon article says some of them are never fake (not sure how they know this so soon!) and I had three of the supposed real ones today. Could possibly be a one off for the first visit, but yeah.

 

I'd definitely be interested in Dark Souls Elite Knight style get up, but who wouldn't? :)

That’s basically what I’m doing. I’ve given up even attempting to build a ‘proper’ island with outside furniture and paths and so on, lacking any imagination, and am just getting my enjoyment from visiting other forumites’ villages to check on their latest masterpieces.
