At this point I'd really like canopies - from cloth to viney wood to whatever - to make all of these indoorsy designs people are making outdoors not look so silly when it rains. The arcade up there's a good example, as are outdoor restaurants. Semi-transparency would work.

Oh wow!!

I’m aiming for something similar.

Final version will be a dark seedy early 90s arcade complete with weed.

Happy memories :)

It looks a lot better at night with the lights off. The atmosphere is there with different music playing! I discovered that you can load the juke box with KK music!

@StumpyJohn I’ll take a street lamp and springy in swap, and I’ll order you the turbine and could I please have a climbing thing in return for that.
Does all that make sense?

Thanks to @Unofficial Who for the invite to the Southern Hemisphere earlier today, and for sending me the Catan looking board game.  Nice island and I managed to catch a couple of new fish, but the experience was marred when I found myself stalked by the horror that is Pietro.  What is the name of God is that thing?

@MagicalDrop up for another watering session again tomorrow evening. Reckon we should have a couple hosting at a time to reduce time waiting around.

Yes definitely!

I'm going to have a think about the best way to do it next time.

For now I'm thinking that we should see what comes up overnight, have an inevitable re-planting session during the day then reconvene tomorrow evening after Nook closing time. Aim would be to get round 5 towns in under an hour.

We will probably have to give up on the idea of 6 people all watering the same beds at once but when it lasted it was great fun!

I’ve read about people selling and trading villagers for nook miles tickets and stuff but I’m confused about how you actually trade them. Like there’s no way to force move a villager to another island, and I understand that if you neglect them and they’re packing to move others can invite them to stay, but then aren’t people risking losing valuable villagers if anything goes wrong on that day?

Is anyone here trying hard to complete a curated list of villagers? I’ve used amiibo cards to get a few I liked the look of but I don’t think I’d have the heart to get rid of either of my original two, ugly as they may be.

Are there any amiibo cards that people are particularly after btw?

He spent the entire day last week wearing a hat I made to look like a breast. He can do no wrong.
