KK Slider played today! And the upgraded museum opened! And I bought my biggest haul of turnips to date! 
 

As if that wasn’t keeping me busy enough Redd has shipped in with some new pieces. Seems that they might be fake, but what am I looking for? Any tips from experienced art dealers?

Have opened my island to friend list, as usual its a mess except more so as have actually started making more changes.

Nips are 99 so you will get better deals elsewhere

 

There is a row of flowers before Nooks Cranny that it would be lovely if you could water, cans are provided

 

I think I have most of the nook ticket items that I was due to swap ready so can do those too

 

I'll probably be pottering around but might be AFK from time to time

Was about to ask this...I'm looking at Van Gogh's Sunflowers and apart from contrast/saturation which is probably a game thing, it all looks in order. Do the differences tend to be very subtle or glaring? Both?

 

I'm thinking they're not that expensive, so you might as well risk it? (Look at me, Mr Moneybags)

Woah there! 8am is funky as hell, It's my favourite one, closely followed by 5pm and 12pm. Not everyone's music tastes are the same I suppose, but I just need you to know that your opinion is wrong :P

 

I listened to the hours I hadn't heard before on youtube last night. That 3am one is a bit bonkers isn't it :lol:

 

The entire soundtrack is over 5 hours long! Although that's mainly down to the hourly music having a rain and a snow version too.

 

They've put some amazing effort into some pieces that only get heard at the start of the game. The prologue music was lovely, I didn't notice it changing as we progressed. 

 

The description in the video has timestamps so you can jump to your favourite ones (8am is @7:34, music fans).

I think I’ve figured it out - all pieces sold by Redd are based on a genuine piece of art, he sells four but only one of them is real. If you’re familiar enough with the real world version (or know the name and have access to Google!) you can compare them all and spot the fakes. 
 

So for example, Redd was selling the Venus Di Milo, but his piece was wearing a necklace, unlike the real Venus; ergo, fake!

 

I believe I’ve sniffed out a genuine Vitruvian Man. I’ll find out tomorrow when he ships it to me.

Sounds good to me, i need to drop my girls off at 4pm, but otherwise will be around.

@Delargey I might have messed up the tag.

Everyone else, doing some prep would be a good idea, at least 10 watering cans and suggest no more than 10 mins per island otherwise its not fair. Also no cataloguing or shopping on the way, if you see anything nice grab a screenshot and enquire later!

Some Lilies of the Valley have popped up on my island even though I only have a **** rating.  That’s odd, eh?  I think I’d have ***** if I just chopped down some trees (too many trees is the only thing Isabelle mentions), so maybe it’s to do with that?

I had in mind doing something similar - currently have the 3 arcade cabs and 6 pinballs. But 3 more cabs is probably enough to keep space manageable and the residents entertained. 

 

Reminds me of 1979/1980 arcades though with dozens of Space Invaders cabs.
