I've just worked something out that is probably obvious to everyone already.

 

Loads of people have been asking about cabinets and units for kitchens, seeing as there don't seem to be any around.  Well, since Nook's Cranny has upgraded, there's a third furniture slot every day that has a gold label that's different to the labels on the other two slots, so this slot is selling higher value items.  Big kitchen cabinets and units are going to be higher value items, so for the first thirty days or so after release nobody (bar time-travelling cheats, or journos who got it early) would have had high value items for sale, so wouldn't have seen any kitchen cabinets, unless they got lucky with balloons or shaking trees.  So from now on we should start to get some better, bigger furniture items coming into the game.

I can give you a load of blue pansies, am really short on blue windflowers though so can do them.  No need for the tulips in return

Amazing, can I pop over and grab a few? I’m trying to grow a crap tonne of windflowers so can hopefully return the favour in the next few days

It's easier if I drop off as visitors can plant with no restrictions, how many would you like, I can easily give you half a dozen, maybe more

Am taking a break at the moment as have been playing most of the day so far but will be back on later

Was speaking to my brother last night and in absolute hysterics listening to his Animal Crossing Turnip shenanigans. I had gifted him 200 nips last week so he could try it out, he found an island online with a decent selling price and off he went to sell. He made about 100k from his sale but then when leaving he stumbled across where people were obviously leaving tips. He thought this was gifts left out for visitors by the host so lifted 5x 99k bags, then he found what I assume was a fossil exchange section and helped himself to the lot. Then when he got back to his island he didn't realise you could donate fossils from other islands to your own museum so sold them all. Such a dumbass. 

 

This week he got his own turnips and was using the turnip exchange website to find an island. He found one buying for over 600 bells but the host wanted 10NMT for entry. My brother felt 3NMT was fair enough so popped over with that. The host had blocked all routes to the shop until payment was made. My brother said he only had 3 and the host just messaged back with "Leave!". So my brother skulked down just out of view and waited. Someone else came along and made payment, the host moved to the side so this guy could proceed at which point my brother sprinted from his hiding spot, barged passed them and headed for the store, at this point the host gave chase but my brother managed to get there first and make his sale. Left the store with over 1.2m bells then went back to where the host was and gave him the 3NMT before leaving. 

 

Says he's annoyed with leaving the tickets but said he had the biggest grin on his face for the rest of the day and kept on laughing about it. 

 

He also managed to buy more turnips from someone's island yesterday then visit another island to sell them. This person was only asking for 1NMT which he was ok with but he forgot to bring one with him. Says the island wasn't closed off and when the host asked for payment he started "chatting up a crocodile" and pretended to not see her message. He kept talking to the villager while the host was hovering around then as soon as she went to greet someone else he was off like a flash to the shop to make his sale. Then she chased after him when he was leaving so he begrudgingly her 2× 99k bags which he felt was fair. 

 

He's a fucking menace. :lol:
