You can choose the specific villager that leaves but only when the replacement is one that has been called up to the campsite using Amiibo cards

I’m torn between wanting these Amiibo cards immediately and letting nature take its course. Having the characters appear randomly is more rewarding.

 

Either way, Fauna is currently watering all my plants. She will never be allowed to leave.

I let half of them arrive randomly the filled out with cards.

I think the new flowers patterns are working out well, this is what I harvested this morning, 35 buds including some stuff I really wanted like orange lily, 2 purple pansies, a purple mum, some black tulips

Also I had a total flower surprise appear, I'd seen them on a visit and thought it perhaps came from TT but I must have triggered something yesterday as now have one of these

Happened to me a couple of times.

 

I much preferred my multi coloured multi flower planting but now I've colour coded I kind of want to go back...

I figure I’ll do a factory style hybrid thing until I’ve got a nice array of all the colours, then I’m going full on flower meadow/country lane vibe. But it’s going to take aaaages to breed all these flowers.

I haven't bothered bashing all of the rocks and trees since the first week unless I go to an island. Haven't run out of anything for ages and if I do need something it's fairly easy to get it.

Yeah, I am in full industrial breeding mode for a while.  Had to shift all my trees to make the space so they are a jumbo mess too.

 

Here are the patterns I am now using @skittles.  They could be made to look nice if the colours were more arranged but it took me long enough as it was anyway!!

You can get an idea of how many blue pansy pairs I have been using the get the purples to pop.  The purples do seem pretty good at giving more purples though, once you have a few

Same here, Nook's Cranny and Museum are closed so seemed a good idea to spend time stocktaking. I've kept 6 each of all of the base colours and will carry on concentrating on rose breeding for now. 

 

It's unlikely but if anyone does want a few hybrid hyacinths (pink and orange) I can come over and plant them for you. 

 

EDIT gates open, please water some of my roses if you come
