You only get the special characters as the Amiibo figures. Both with the Amiibo cards. Or you go here: https://www.etsy.com/market/amiibo_nfc_cards and get cheaper NFC cards.

Just wondering, is there a way to start afresh on a new island while keeping the bells, Nook points, catalogue, etc? Tried to change the terrain on mine around a bit, but fucked it up massively. My brain just can’t handle the creativity and imagination required to design an half-decent island, really, so I basically need a new, blank natural island to be content with.

@NexivRed I think diamonds are still best, when using two different colours, but you can share the space with flowers of different species like..

This is the first day I've not been bothered to do my routine, and I feel a bit sad about that. Not that I'm going off it or anything, I just logged in, saw Redd and couldn't be arsed to do beach cleanup, iron harvesting et al. It doesn't help that Nooks has garbage I've already got AGAIN.
