Also, the Socialist Utopia of Llanmikey is coming along, about 40% of the villagers are wearing the regulation uniform I spammed Abel’s shop with

I'd like to know how this works as I wish for all my residents to wear cultist robes but giving the pink duck them as a birthday gift has not encouraged her to wear them.

I'd made the north beach my private beach for my house on the cliffs. Now some bastard has parked his boat on it and I have to move my sun loungers to get on board.

Can you get on board? I wasn’t allowed.

God I'm sick and tired of my island. I hate the layout and I've been really close to reseting the entire thing and start fresh, but I think I'll try to simply take a break from DIY projects and just collect whatever I can. I'm in dire need of furniture, especially tables and chairs. Beds too.

Happy to send any kind of furniture over if you want any.

I filled the back row with a choice of designs for the villagers to purchase (the adorable Sable has also just given me the ability to customise fabrics after a week of my thirsty flirting)

you get one a day from bottles on the beach, their are more often than not bottles on the beaches of Nook Miles Islands you visit and multiple times a day Villagers will be crafting in their houses, speak to them and they’ll give you a copy of whatever they’re crafting DIY :)

So can you get in Redd's wee boat at the moment? Bought his painting but he's just standing around town still.

Also any good Turnip prices? Just went into one of my rooms and discovered it's half full of the things, thought I sold them all yesterday but forgot about that stash

Still haven’t got the Nooks Cranny upgrade, have sold a fortune to them but most probably through the drop off box

Only recently realised I only get 80% of the value doing that but also now wondering if those sales don’t count towards the 200,000 upgrade target?

Thank to the people who’ve send me new amazing brollies I’ve received lately! Loads of new ones.

I now have so many that I can’t easily put them into an existing exhibit. So I’m going to give the zoo a large change up to display the new ones.

In the meantime, could I ask to hold off being sent any more until it is done? Otherwise I’m going to get overwhelmed lol. Thank you guys x

As well as the ways mentioned by @CovisGod you can also get them from shooting down balloons, talking to Celeste when she is in town and from talking to potential villagers that camp at your campsite

And from the villagers when you visit someone else.

Lol, I hate asking people to stop helping me. But I want to give each brolly the attention it deserves, not just whack it in an enclosure with a shit description :)

Maybe pop them into storage and then sort through them in the order that they happen to get stored in the menu? That way you won't slip out of peoples' minds as 'mad brolly captor' when they come across a cool one.

I don’t think my questionable military diorama island and crazy umbrella narration allows me to slip from many minds ^_^

I need someone to help me out with these item puns though. The mackerel one, and the clam one. My partner says it’s hinting at vanilla but surely not. That’s fucking awful.

It took me ages to work through the paper kite butterfly one because it was so long winded. And the butterfly one.

The black bass one. What?

I love how if you type a Dodo code in wrong, you get booted out of the conversation and have to go through the whole connection process again!

I really, really hope that the devs listen to the feedback about player usability and improve it, although its sold so well I'd be surprised as it's all "part of the charm". Not so charming when you've seen the "Manilla, my favourite flavour!" for the 200th time. Stuff like having to watch the animations of exchanging goods from the plaza vendors for every transaction, the joke that is the airport conversations, the pop up messages for everything you catch, just streamlining all of this stuff would be a huge quality of life improvement considering how many hours we and millions of other gamers sink into the game. Please Nintendo.. please. My only ray of hope is they did listen to the Easter feedback and improved Eggergeddon a bit. PLEASE NINTENDO

Yes it really is vanilla.

I don't get the Mackerel one. Mack-er-el? Anyone got any clue?
