Yeah, I spoke to him first thing this morning, did the Nature Day task for X5 Nook Miles which was to plant some shrubs (or it might have been flowers and different for others anyway) and then spoke to him again.

I have the opportunity to get a super cheap Switch Lite. How does that work with Animal Crossing? I'd do a system transfer from the normal to the Lite, but if my son wanted to carry on with the old one, would he be able to play on my island still? Or would he need to get the game again?

I don’t think you can transfer animal crossing data at all? I thought everyone was angry before launch because your save is trapped on whatever switch you made it on forever.

Crap, yeah. Forgot about that. Might just get a new battery and sort that instead.

It absolutely terrifies me that I could lose my town, it’s one of the reasons I wasn’t going to play this one, and why I’m not 100% on the details of stuff announced before launch.
