My new Switch Lite is faulty so looks like I'm going to lose my progress so far in this (about 10 days of play)..

 

Any idea if I can send a few hundred thousand bells to someone here and get them back when I restart? I haven't visited any other islands yet. Have a few hundred pears I want to sell elsewhere too and a few special items I'd like to keep but that might not be practical..

Nintendo have said that in certain circumstances they can restore your save but I'm not sure if it's a one time only deal
