That was probably me the baby bamboo you needed? I think they were in season just so they were giving out more than usual.

Has anyone caught a

Ranchu Goldfish yet? Apparently they're in the ponds all year round during the day time but they seem to be rarer than hen's teeth. I've caught a pop-eyed one, but not a Ranchu.

 

And what about

Spoiler

a fly? They spawn near 'rubbish' items all year round, from what I've read, but I've had some bin bags around the back of my Nook's Cranny for a week now and haven't seen one once. My island is obviously too squeaky clean.

I put a can down on the ground (that I caught when fishing) and a fly was on it within seconds. Told my wife but it didn’t happen for her...

I've caught a couple of flies. I have a junk pile on the beach and flies occasionally appear there but it is pretty uncommon, I see them less than once a day. I think they spawn on the tin can or on the tire. Both junk items you catch during fishing

It's been raining all day in mine today (for the first time since release) and a couple of times yesterday, before that it hadn't for more than a week. I think the weather changes on the hour so could try regularly dipping into the game to see, you can definitely see the skies changing in advance of the weather too

1st one. Yes. During the fishing competition. But I didn’t notice so it’s in my Critterpedia but not my museum :doh:

First one. Yes. About three or four. The second. Try trash you fish up. That's what did it for me. Bin bags are crafted items and I doubt any of them count as trash.
