This is my current lot.

 

Olaf social distancing in the background there clearly thinks we’re beneath him so his days are numbered.

 

Unfortunately, Clyde and Annalise are my two current favourites but there can only be one horse on my island. That’s a tough one.

Typical of this game. I needed a couple of water eggs to finish off my bunny furniture so I went fishing for some. First one I get is

@GC Zombie it sounds like it would’ve been better for you to restart with you as the island rep, don’t know if you feel it would be too late now? Or, any idea what happens if you delete the rep save on the title screen? Would it promote someone else?

 

I played on my wife’s island and it wasn’t until I started my own I realised how rubbish it was as she had the majority of the loot and I didn’t get prompted to make anything at all really.

We're too invested in the current island. Both my boys have spent a crazy amount of time with the clothes designer app. I know we're only 2 weeks in, which is nothing in Animal Crossing, but I don't want to do it all again just so I can claim the island as my own. I'll just have to keep switching accounts to do stuff, which is a ballache at this point in the game, but once the Island is set out the way we want it the issue will mostly go away.

Gates open 22TQ9

 

There's 9 fossils in the obvious area as you leave the airport plus some unwanted DIY cards and furniture. 

 

1in 1 out would be great on the fossils, please leave any outside of the rope area so I can check if I need them. 

 

Otherwise come and have a mooch around. Happy to back order anything I can.

It sounds like you have a system that works now at least despite it being a faff :)

Gaaah! This game is infuriating if you're not the island representative!

 

I complained about a week ago that were were stuck for 5 days, unaware that only the first person on the island could progress the story. 

 

1 week later of hand holding my youngest son through all the quests that Nook gives so we can get everything unlocked, we finally have the upgraded resident services! Yes! We can have bridges and ramps! Except, also no! WE can't build them... Only the island representative can! 

 

I was looking forward to unlocking terraforming, but I'm not going to be able to do that either am I?

 

All this wouldn't be a problem if each player could have their own island, but the only way to do that us to buy a switch for each player! 

 

In hoping for an update that allows the island rep to give permission for other islanders to build stuff, or for the rep status to be transferable. That's not likely to happen is it? 

 

All that said. It's still a lovely game and we are playing it every day. I'm just disappointed that I'm playing animal crossing lite. 

 

Yeah, being player 2 definitely has some serious downsides, I'm with you on that. Good news though, you can absolutely do terraforming as p2!

@ryodi Cherry Blossom petals do all seem to come from normal balloons so when you hear one you need to check if its normal rather than bunny and shoot it down.  You wont always get a recipe but they are there.  Also you can get several without making all the prior ones, I had a big crafting session the other night and had 5 or 6 unmade cherry blossom ones available to craft for the first time.  Note I did make the picnic set right away at the beginning though. 

 

Also @moosegrinder Mabel was in my plaza today and the very first time I spoke with here she offered to move in.  Finally!!

Hmm, I got about 70,000 but only a Rank B.  Think it must take into account how many rooms you have as I have all of them

Oh! That's good news. Although, confusing news... I can't be trusted to build a bridge, but I can turn the entire island into Waterworld :lol:
