Stockholm syndrome that is.  What I want to do is;

Is it just me or has finding rare fish become extremely difficult since that bunny arrived?

If you dig up clams you can craft bait, when you use that you only get fish. But, yes most fish seem to be eggs now.

Thanks for the tip. I usually craft bait but didn’t think it would be worthwhile as I thought I’d just get more eggs

The eggs and the release of Persona 5 Royal have meant I've put less time into the game recently. I've also got about 20 cherry blossom petals with no sign of a recipe to use them on. So I'm going to dump all of my money into turnips tomorrow in the hope that I can get a big enough return to invest in upgrading the home and general improvements because everyone elses town is putting mine to shame.

Damn, only just found out you can no longer create a Tarantula island.

I'm torn as to my next move. My island is a mess, so tempted to wait until I have got to terraforming before giving it a theme, but part of me still want to do stuff now.

No point I exploiting glitches to speed up progress, Animal Crossing is supposed to be a slow paced game in my opinion. Tarantulas in general seem more rare now. I’ve only spotted two since the update on my island.

I do still need them. Can you drop off fully grown flowers? If you’re around tomorrow message me and we’ll sort something out

To be honest I don’t know if you can give flowers. We’ll give it a go tomorrow otherwise my shop normally has some lilly seeds in.

I can make a pretty clock and a bonsai tree if you’re interested. I can also make a bonsai shelf (of three trees) which uses a cherry blossom one as an ingredient. I can’t make it yet though as it requires a pine bonsai and I don’t have the recipe for that.

Doh, totally forgot about turnip day. So skint, but I really had to pay off my loan yesterday just to free up storage space. I guess in future I should put in the Nook ATM savings what I orignally invested in turnips once I get a payout , that way I can't accidentally spend it! Animal Crossing, teaching real life lessons.

That's more or less what I do. Put my excess cash in the ABD during the week and spank it on turnips. Then hopefully pay off the current loan with the proceeds and start again. I do get what Rob Rule says about making the capitalism a little too naked, but also I want rooms.

So Animal Crossing sold 1.88 million copies in Japan in its first 3 days, amazing.

That's just the physical copies numbers?! :o

How many people here bought digital? I'd bet way more than the physical buyers.

I was proper skint too until I landed on a money island. Loads of rocks pumping out bell bags.

I owe you 3K don’t I?

Turnips at 100 to purchase in Tiffin  if anyone needs. I will be asleep but welcome to grab something off the stalls near the entrance. Dodo:    2QQS4

(Looking for bamboo or blossom recipes especially the blossom lanterns if anyone has any)

Isabelle should give you the first one which is the picnic set, then you have to make that and the rest start dropping from balloons, then when you make that it'll drop the next one. Apparently that's how it works.

Turnips for 92, open to all for a short while: GQHBC

Thanks much!

FYI I left by hitting the - button and have my nips intact. Much less of a faff when you're trying to chat to the chap at the airport with a bunch of people visiting..
