Just figured out something that might be useful in designing paths. When laying the pre-made paving in the island designer app, the grass surrounding the path will overlap at the edges to give a more natural appearance. Much better than the harder edges when using DIY patterns. You can work around this using transparencies but it's a fair amount of faffing about to get it looking decent.

However, if you lay a designer app path first as a base, then apply DIY patterns over it, the grass will overlap both at the edges. It looks pretty nice.

I don't know if I'm making any sense at all right now.

Edit: Actually, looks like the custom path permit you can buy with Nook Miles might do achieve the same thing. Still, managed some nice paths with two layers so could still be useful.

I’m not crafting shit with these fucking eggs. It’s all garish shite. Just gonna shove the lot in my wheelie bin.

I hope to fuck all those recipes fuck off from my crafting menu on the 13th.

I’m a long-time player of Pocket Camp on iOS.

All I can say is: get used to regular garish shite. At least it’s regular though.

Can you take a picture of what you mean?

I’ve spent time designing paths that have no hard edges. The biggest drawback is how many design slots they need to take up.

I’ve got 5 dedicated to cobblestone, and 4 to old bricks. It’s a lot of room to get all the edges. And ideally I’d have more than 1 of each to make randomisation much easier.

Also how they've not made it so you "Acquire" your clothes into like a catalogue you can wear from a wardrobe and just have them taking up storage space is beyond me.

I pretty much sell clothes straight away, as soon as you’ve catalogued them you can always re-buy so no point in taking up space,

What you’re talking about you can do, you need a Wand, Star Wand, Cherry Blossom Wand etc. It removes them from your inventory and locks them to a wand :)

Oh shit, that's perfect!

Waaaaaaait a minute. If you register an item to one space on the wand, you can't use it on another one. And if it's on the wand it's not in your inventory any more? That's really not very good.

Edit: and you can't get changed while wearing a wand outfit. Sigh.

Anybody want to visit? Have been working very hard on my paths and flower garden today.

Dodo code 33cbk

Loads of fossils up for trade behind the museum along with some furniture for donation.

If anyone has red roses, that'd be awesome

I do like the egg fence. You can use these to make your island look a bit more festive.

Most of the other egg-related stuff is a bit meh though.

The egg lamp is quite nice too.

Also, I realised last night that while your eggs might only be worth 200 bells each. Craft them into something and they double in value. A six egg bed is worth 2400, compared to the 1200 you'd normally get. It's free money :)

I went from having 18,000 bells in my pocket to 76,000 after shaking one of my new money trees. It works. You just don’t get the full value every time.

Now to find that morning golden glow in the ground for somewhere to store this 76k.

Thanks to @NexivRed for the fridge. Thought I'd see if it would open and it has a highly unexpected feature!

It's some sort of magical clothing change machine!

What's that all about then?

I overclocked it for you.
