I picked up everything you dropped all excited - got one thing that completed a skeleton!

 

Getting very rare to find a new fossil now - the long game is going to be looooong to track down the last few.

Seems the update has stopped you from making/planting money trees. 

 

I have 5 where I put 10000 bells in the hole. Found another hope this morning and it won't let me plant more bells. 

 

Edit- Ignore. I'm a tit. Didn't have a shovel in my hands lol

I made some tarantula islands last night (of all the things to make a farm out of, it had to be spiders :unsure:). The giant water bugs appearing now it's April are a pain in the arse.

 

The second island was a bamboo island which worked great though:

I'm going through some not nice real life stuff at the moment, so I've dusted off the Switch and I'm downloading this as I type, so I can have something cheerful to play that will (hopefully) distract me while I can keep my dad company through what's going on.

Make sure you set up the game as your own main account because other profiles that join your island later are slightly crippled in that they can't advance 'story' or 'quest' type things.

 

Surprised no one warned you about this, hope I'm not too late!
