I haven't been following this thread as I've wanted to discover the game without any spoilers. But just popping in to say how wonderful this is and what a real ray of sunlight it has been in the last couple of weeks. I've never played an AC game before, so I had no idea what to expect. It's the first game my 4 year old has shown any interest in and we've had some lovely times playing it together. About half that time has been dress designing! But we are making some progress on various things now. We got the museum open last night which was a special moment. She's now enjoying the "Easter egg hunt" today. Nintendo have absolutely knocked it out the park here.

Ooh, loads of new fish and bugs today.

From big fish (Blue Marlin and Tuna) to little ones (Seahorse and Clownfish) and awesomely named ones (Zebra Turkeyfish!). It's nice to catch something different from bloody Horse Mackerel and Sea Bass.

I am collecting eggs too although have no idea why.

Also, blossom!

Finally, Flo the Penguin has started singing along to a little radio I left out in the open. She is excellent as is Moose the Mouse who has given me the nickname 'Iron M', which they are both now happily using.

How do you share pics (from animal crossing) to RLLMUK?

I don't have twitter or a pc btw

Then you can't. You can upload them to Twitter or Facebook from the Switch or you can take a picture with your phone.

Some people have set up an account just for this shit.

I'm just taking photos of the screen with my phone. Think you will need Twitter linked to your switch otherwise.

I have a few questions for animal crossing veterans.

1. Can you unlock paths? (I don't mean making tiles, I mean actual paths you can build and they will show up on the map)

2. I have seen stairs on someone's island. Does it take a while to get this?

3. Same applies to bridges, I have built the bridge that the Nook cunt makes you build but can't build another.

4. Can you re-arrange house locations at any point? How?

5. Is there any way to pay less for nook miles tickets? 2000 seems pricey.

6. How do I hang items on the walls of house and outside etc? Whenever I see a "hang" option, it doesn't allow it.

7. How do I put up signs on easels that I have seen on other people islands?

8. Will I need to play this game for a few hours a day for a year to get the most out of it? (Not that I mind!)

1. Don't know. I think so when you've got a lot of pre-requisite steps completed.

2. A few days. It unlocks when you've upgraded Resident Services, which has it's own set of things to do. 98k bells per incline.

3. Yes you can make more bridges. Bridges and steps will cost you 98k bells for the basic versions.

4. Yes, with the upgraded Resident Services. It's like 60k bells.

5. No 2k is what it is, although you'll have a few easier ways to earn them over time.

6. You need to stand next to the wall where you want it to hang.

7. It's a design from the Nook phone, that someone has selected and chosen "display here" with. That creates the easel.

8. Maybe? It's definitely a do-a-bit-a-day game.

Cheers. So upgrading resident services is priority it seems.

I have done everything he has asked and had 3 new people move it. So basically a waiting game right now.

Mrs spork hasn't had the rabbit visit her island today. Tried restarting the switch etc but no luck. Shouldn't be be available for everyone?

Yes, so long as the date on her switch is today.  He was not on my island either but after pressing minus, choosing save and quit and then staring the game up again he appeared straight away.  My Nooks Cranny is next to my plaza and he was near to both of them.
