Damn my animal crossing won't get onto the internet even though my friends appear online, no turnip joy for me! Funny coming home to read all this turnip rush madness on here though, you guys have been busier on this than me in my irl job!

 

Will open up once I get online working again.

About an hour ago, just casually fishing by my upper river. Weather was just a nice clear evening.

Unlucky @Yiggy. I made it back to the airport just as you were coming through, completely unaware of the time. Maybe you’ll be glad to have missed out by the end of the week...

Today has been a good day of fishing. On top of the stringfish, I randomly caught another sturgeon with no bait, another oarfish and bagged my first and second coalacanth on an island trip.

Asking for the Mrs as I can no longer get anywhere near the Switch - she only seems to have one rock on her island and when she hits it just one items comes out and it shatters.  Is there anyway to get more? - She is after Iron I think?

 It's because she ate fruit, it shatters the rock. Don't worry, they respawn after a day or two in different places. Be aware when you eat fruit a counter goes up in the corner, she needs to make sure that's at zero or she's still 'powered up' from fruit.

Yep, when a certain building comes along. Just encourage trade with any passing traders to get them to move in properly.

Chop down every tree. Smash every rock. Pick all flower heads. Pull up every weed.

 

It's not fast. You have to run around a lot to despawn a few other bugs that spawn (wharf roach and tiger beatles).

And if she has a toilet she can sit on it to reduce her fruit eaten counter.

Never caught the Stringfish. Not for lack of trying.

 

On the upside, literally my first two casts back on the beach as the clock went past midnight were Nemo (Clownfish) and Dory (surgeonfish). Amazeballs.
