Was wondering whether to put something in Music.  I've literally started listening to Dr Feelgood about a week ago and realised there is a massive hole in my music collection.  A ferocious live act and driven by Wilko's amazing style and stage presence (presumably perfected in a really narrow corridor).  You can see why he and they was such a massive influence on punk.

I never realised until I read that article that he was also the pilot Tom Cruise manhandles in the “I will fire when I’m goddam good and ready !” sequence in Top Gun. RIP

As an avid Trekkie Kirstie Alley will always be Lt Saavik to me in the best Trek film of them all 'The Wrath Of Khan'.

 

Although I did actually prefer the performance of Robin Wright playing the same role in the subsequent films.
